New translations and graphical improvements
Hi Everyone,We've made a number of improvements to Brightstone Mysteries: Others, so it's time for an update :)What's new:New translations added:DanishNorwegianSwedishPolishCroatianImproved animation quality:Many video-based animations have been re-encoded in a higher resolution, making the whole game look sharper.There are still some blurry areas of the game that we plan to improve, but that will be done in one of the future updates.Various bug fixes:Several users have reported various glitches and we fixed them all.A lot of these occured in the underground location, I hope we fixed all of them. The main problem is that some players were able to use the navigation map to get out of the undergound location (instead of by solving the puzzle to get out), which shouldn't be allowed. If this happens to you in the new update, please report it so we can investigate.Note:We maintain all our games indefinetly, fix bugs and translation issues, and sometimes make improvements like these. Linux version now available!
We're happy to announce we've released the Linux version of Brightstone Mysteries: The Others! As far as our games are concerned, Linux is no longer a "second-class citizen", we're rolling out Linux support for ALL games in our catalogue and we will continue to support our games on all 3 major Steam platforms with updates from now on. Everything works nicely, we tested the game on many Linux distributions as well as Steam Deck. We built the game for Linux according to Steam developer guidelines so we don't expect much problems, but if you do encounter issues, please write in the Discussion forum and we'll investigate. Also, if you play this game on Linux and everything works, we'd still love to hear from you and know which Distro/CPU/GPU you use.
