About this game

Touhou Gensou Mahjong is a game where you play Mahjong matches with 3 to 4 players, starring 130+ characters appearing from over 20 entries in the Touhou Project series! Battle across 20 stages on based on famous series locales, all featuring alternate rulesets! Warp the matches even further with character unique abilities! Anything goes in Gensokyo!

These characters and locales are all brought to life from the efforts of over 150 artists, illustrators and musical arrangers alike!

  Touhou Gensou Mahjong has been updated to v1.2.15b. *The Switch version has also been updated, but it is labeled “1.2.15a”. The fixes are the same for both versions. As we have not made any adjustments to the network battles, you can still play against other versions of “v1.2.14”, but we ask that you update as soon as possible. Bug fixes Fixed an issue where the order of the explanation slides in “Cirno's Mahjong Class” was incorrect when there were more than 10 pages. Fixed significant performance issues caused by the “Oni-bi” effect triggered by Chiyari's ability. The appearance of the effect has been significantly changed. Fixed an issue where temporary substitutes could be used in single-player mode. Fixed an issue where repeatedly entering and exiting the match room would eventually cause an error, preventing further access to the match room until the game was restarted. Fixed some untranslated ability instructions and system messages. Also, based on feedback from the community, changed the wording of some ability descriptions.   We have updated Touhou Gensou Mahjong to v1.2.15a. Cross-platform battles are now available! We've been working hard on this update, and we're finally able to announce that cross-platform matches between the Switch version of Touhou Gensou Mahjong and other platforms are now available! Enjoy fantastic mahjong battles on your favorite platform and in your favorite style! New features Cross-platform multiplayer support. Double-clicking is now treated as the confirmation action in character selection. Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where the number of tiles in the pot was not reset during forced consecutive rounds for “Mike Goutokuji” and “Miyoi Okunoda” and during a flowing full house. Fixed an issue where “Kisume” abilities could stack multiple times. Fixed an issue where communication synchronization would become out of sync and cause the game to freeze when playing online with CPU characters “Byakuren”, “Hatate”, “Koakuma”, “Lyrica”, “Orin”, or “Tenshi.” Fixed translation omissions. Fixed behavior that could cause memory shortages or unnecessary frame drops. Fixed an issue where the mouse pointer display and the actual click location were misaligned when NDI was enabled.
