Embark on a heartfelt journey to save your human in Save My Human, an indie RPG where you navigate treacherous levels with your loyal dog. Encounter various pets seeking their owners in this unique adventure.

About this game

A 2D side-scrolling fast-paced hack and slash/action RPG, exploring the classes of each character, fluid movements, evasion, special attacks, and everything that creates a pleasant gaming experience. Many varied environments, each with its own unique enemies and bosses, keeping the challenge constant.

Save My Human tells the story of a little girl kicking butt in a video game, but the monsters within the game begin to perceive her as a threat and subsequently kidnap her, bringing her into the digital world of the game. However, her dog manages to quickly follow her and enter the game for the rescue. Upon awakening with warrior powers and observing the dangerous world around them, the dog realizes that the quest will not be easy. Fortunately, they are not alone, as other pets have also entered to save their owners. The adventure starts here as they strive to save their humans!

The squad is made up of the turtle mage, the druid frog, the warrior dog, the archer cat, and the lancer rabbit, each one searching for their human.

- Characters with different classes: dog warrior, cat archer, turtle mage, rabbit lancer, and frog druid. Maybe more?
- Combat: dodge roll/teleport, skills and a special attack for each character.
- Collectibles and consumables to upgrade and customize your gameplay.
- Effects system with burning, slowing, poisoning, and stunning effects, increasing the dynamics of the battle system.
- Big bosses with a diverse range of attacks and a fast pace, which may pose a challenging experience.
- A special character selection system that aligns gameplay style with the storytelling.

Some are wished and some are already in development:
- Skins system: Why not put YOUR cat to play as an archer?
- Puzzle mechanics integrated into the gameplay: Sometimes using force isn't always the best way to progress.
- Mini challenges: Defeat a mini-boss, achieve time-limited goals, protect something valuable; these challenges can provide additional achievements.
- Pet of the pet: Can a human become a pet in this situation?
- Battle modes: If combat is your main goal, let's add some extra fun.

Hey everyone, i was in Gamescom Latam!

Trying to bring a little life to the community here, I wanted to share my most recent experience earlier this May—my participation at Gamescom Latam! https://i.ibb.co/5WqrDPZx/IMG-20250501-WA0020.jpg For those who don’t know much about the behind-the-scenes of Save My Human, nice to meet you! I’m Cassio, the solo developer behind every line of code, every pixel, every frame of this game. Recently, Save My Human was one of 40 games selected out of nearly 1000 submissions to be featured in the Panorama Brasil showcase at Gamescom Latam—one of the biggest gaming events in the world! It was an incredible validation for me after three years of hard work on this game, and I want to thank everyone who stopped by my booth to play the demo and chat. I had the chance to meet people from every possible corner of the industry—game dev students, audio professionals, programmers, artists, content creators, journalists, podcasters, streamers, publishers, and more. It was an enriching exchange full of lessons and insights. The event truly brought the game closer to the community, and I’ll be forever grateful to Gamescom for that. After so many amazing conversations, I’ve solidified the next steps for the project—and I’ll be announcing them to you soon! But I can already share that the first milestone post-event will be the official launch of the demo here on Steam. So if Save My Human isn’t on your wishlist yet, now’s the time! As soon as I launch it, you’ll get notified and be able to play the same demo everyone tried at Gamescom! The version showcased at the event was very well received and praised, and I’m now working on some final bug fixes and polishing a few new features to make the demo even stronger. I’ll be sharing a date very soon! https://i.ibb.co/GftWGPq5/IMG-20250505-172302-2.jpg Finally, I just want to thank everyone who came by the booth and took the time to learn more about my project. Also, a big thanks to everyone who sent kind messages and words of encouragement—...
