  [UPDATE] A New Era for Darksword

  Champions, Thank you for the incredible love and support you’ve shown for Darksword: Battle Eternity. It’s hard to believe it’s already been over a year since our global launch! As we approach the holiday season, we’re excited to roll out updates that address longstanding feedback and make the game more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Improved Item Drop RatesStarting now, item drop rates and variety in the single-player story mode will be significantly increased. This change is designed to reduce unnecessary grinding and create a more engaging experience for a wider audience. Enhanced Multiplayer Co-opWe’ve made notable changes to the multiplayer co-op mode, including a significant reduction in difficulty to make it more accessible. Additionally, we’ve lowered the latency threshold for random matchmaking, ensuring matches happen more frequently and smoothly. New Leaderboard Season & Battle Pass UpdatesA fresh leaderboard season is on the horizon, giving new players a chance to rise through the ranks. We’re also revamping the free and premium battle pass rewards to feature some of the rarest and most sought-after weapons in the game.   Celebrating First Year of Global Launch

For those who've been playing our game, we would like to convey our sincere thanks to all the support and feedback that helped us make the game better, and also learn from our mistakes. In March, we upgraded from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5 to support better graphics quality and a wider range of devices. Despite extensive testing and troubleshooting, we encountered issues causing crashes in the new DLC, which inconvenienced our players. While we have made progress, it is hard to tell whether the crashing issue in the new DLC has not been completely resolved. Our team is actively working on tracking and fixing this problem. We are also working hard to bring you more exciting content, so we appreciate your continued support and patience. Last but not least, to celebrate the first anniversary of our launch on Meta Quest Store, we are giving all Darksword users 100 million gold! So please enjoy, and see you in the Twisted Corridors.   [Update] Single DLC & Improved Gameplay

  Champions! The endless battle in the Twisted Corridors has just become more intense! Today, we are presenting our first single-player premium DLC package: Nephilim. In this dungeon (sorry, no elevators this time), you will encounter familiar foes and new bosses alike, more lucrative loots to exploit, and a chance to craft new legendary weapons! But be careful. The fight will be challenging even for the best and the most fearsome among all. The DLC package will include the following: Three new boss-level enemies: Glutton, Netherhound, and Blood Luna Three new legendary weapons: The Redeemer (sword), King's Greed (sword), and Immortal Soul (bow) Materials for the new legendary weapons: Nephilim Shard, Apocalypse Metal, Golden Greed, Chaos Crystal, Crimson Core, and Bone Shard {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44768264/08622371038f1c0fc3aa6e5248dceaa766ffd616.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44768264/4dc76d779f83b7705c5bb0cf1d62a31e708a934f.png But hey, that's just paid content! Here are the baseline changes and improvements: Increased player character level cap from 60 to 75 Introducing new power-up skill: the Battle Axe Increased movement speed (yes, faster than before) Increased Gold and XP reward amount for single player story mode Increased chance to drop Rare Crystal and Heroic Crystal from semi-bosses in Infernum and Archeaon Improved shield parry success rate (just thrust your shield when they attack after the blink!)
