  The Wardrobe Update - v0.44

  We've been teasing it, but the real mccoy is now here! The wardrobe is now available for all of your dress-up doll needs! It doesn't end there though, as the game also has a number of new sex scenes and a new story chapter. Read on to the patch notes for the full details!Features list for Lord Goblin v0.44.1: The wardrobe is now implemented for Az'ea and Beth, allowing you to change their daytime outfits and lingerie! Different outfits can also offer a variety of gameplay bonuses. Added Az'ea's and Beth's animated character sprites - they're now animated throughout the game! Three new scenes for Az'ea and Beth, featuring new CGs, when they are gifted their sexy new outfits. Added a new Beth sex scene, taking her for a picnic again after she's been romanced. Added new lewd versions of the handjob and titfuck rituals for Beth, unlocked after she's been romanced. Added a new story chapter with several scenes and events in the second month of gameplay, titled "The Return of the Goblins", in which an old enemy rears his ugly head once more. Added a new siege type: goblin sieges. Added a new CG for the flashback about the maids' arrival to the castle. Added many new holding court events, both for the Return of the Goblins and other events. Numerous bug fixes.Balance tweaks: Holding court event frequencies have been adjusted; in general there will likely be fewer per day than before so they don't repeat as often, but there are more total events and will be more added in future to compensate, so there is more variety. You now start with +20 soldiers to help with the Earl's demands during the Return of the Goblins. Lust gain from the Dress Well action is increased by 1. Gifts are now 50% cheaper. Benefits of a Royal Visit's option for gaining artisans is modified, now giving fewer artisans but increasing the max artisan cap. New events have been added to increase population size more easily.

  Preview: The Wardrobe

  The next Steam release is likely to include the first versions of our new wardrobe system, allowing you to choose the outfits for the characters, based on what you've unlocked or purchased from the shop. Apart from looking nice, the daytime outfits also give different gameplay bonuses to the characters, depending on which you choose for them to wear, so you might want to change them from time to time based on what you need. (Though lingerie is really just for fun, as it should be.)The gif version above is actually just a work in progress version and we've updated it since then, but I didn't have a more up to date gif handy.Right now, we've only got Az'ea and Beth working in the wardrobe, because in order to set them up we need to first finalise the animated character sprites for the characters. Fina needs more plot progression before she could be included, Delia and Lord Goblin have partially animated character sprites, but theirs still need more work before being included, and Cliona's animation is still in progress.\ Road maps \ I can't spare much time for lots of road map posts (even posting this took a bunch of time I had set aside for working on new voice scripts - it's tough when you're a small team!) and we keep our development structure open to avoid crunch and burn-out, but I might be able to give occasional small previews of whatever's coming in the next releases.   The Big Beth Update - v0.40

  As Valentine's Day approaches, love is in the air! Our latest major content update focuses on fleshing out a number of the romance scenes for Beth. There are a number of new scenes, some wholesome, many naughty! In addition are a number of balance changes, additions, and improvements to the core game! Added Beth's romance sex scene! Yes, the romance between high-born Beth and the lowly goblin has reached its climax! (This scene is unlocked by seeing all of her prior romance scenes and getting Love, Lust and Obedience each to 100)Added a new "Memories" menu accessible from the Lord's bedroom, which allows you to replay unlocked romance and flashback scenes. (This is a work-around because the gallery has difficulty displaying some of these scenes without loading the manor first and functioning within full gameplay)Added loading screens when transitioning from the main menu.Added a new romance scene for Beth, sharing a picnic with her on a lovely day, containing 3 CGs (1 with 2 significant variations) and voice acting.Added a new dialogue scene (featuring voice acting) in which Delia starts teaching Cliona to read.Added a huge batch of 18 new holding court events.Revised the frequency of holding court events, making all events slightly less frequent, now that we have a lot of them.Made back-end technical revisions to prepare for future features Added a new romance scene for Beth, praying in the chapel, containing a 3 CGs (1 with 2 significant variations) and voice acting.Added a new UI screen available from the Lobby, called "audit the manor".
