Ducks Can Drive v4.00
Hello ducks, I have been fairly busy this month, but I have been working on this cosmetic system for v4.00. The infrastructure is now finished, with a handful of cosmetics to choose from. More and more will be added throughout v4.01, v4.02 and onwards. This patch also introduces the Penguins Can Too DLC, which allows you to drive as a penguin if you really want to. The DLC will have a discount for the first week. Expect cosmetics such as different characters along with the penguin like a polar bear and a parrot (in the making at the moment), along with new car models like a buggy and a spaceship to be added. Soon, translations will also be done for the game, which should help its global reach. Autumn (or Fall) is coming (for the northern hemisphere), meaning new themed tracks will also be added soon. Thank you all for playing Ducks Can Drive, and all who have purchased the supporters pack. Joey Patch notes: Adjusted the exit and settings buttons in the menu Removed the checkbox from settings for the supporter pack car, and moved it to the cosmetic locker A new locker menu where you can equip different car colours, car models, duck skins and hats. Car colours (apart from red) will be unlocked after finding all the lorebooks Duck skins (apart from white) will be unlocked through the v1.00-v2.00 track time trials Duck hats (apart from no hat) will be unlocked through the v3.00+ track time trials Added the Penguins Can Too DLC Updated the Steam Store and Library assets.Read full article on Community Announcements (noodle)AnnouncementsOfficial
Servers for Different Regions in Ducks Can Drive
Hello everyone, As of v3.03, you can now select your server region in the settings menu. Currently, these servers include Europe, US and Australia. This should help with any ping, latency and lag issues you may have been experiencing in the multiplayer (before there were only European servers). If you are trying to play with friends, make sure you are both in the same region in the settings, otherwise you won't be able to find each other's rooms. You know what region you are connected to after going into the multiplayer city menu, as "eu", "us" or "au" will show in the bottom right corner. Finally, thank you to all of you who have purchased the supporter pack. It means a lot for the development for the game. More regional servers will be coming soon as the game grows. Continue to enjoy Ducks Can Drive! JoeyRead full article on Community Announcements (noodle)Patch NotesOfficial
