About this game
Eydigard is a folklore-inspired RPG set in the mystical fjords of Northern Norway during the turbulent early 16th century. A relentless plague has turned prosperous farmlands into abandoned ruins, while mythical creatures now roam the surrounding wilderness.
As a mercenary gifted with shapeshifting abilities, you'll battle legendary beasts, reclaim and upgrade abandoned farms as your bases, and navigate the tense politics between rival clans competing for power. Each animal form offers unique strengths, shaping your strategy and approach to every encounter.
Your decisions shape relationships, influence clan dynamics, and leave lasting marks on the communities around you.
Key features:
Open World Exploration: Traverse abandoned farms, majestic mountain halls, and lively marketplaces. Engage with traders, mysterious wanderers, and mythical beings as you uncover hidden stories.
Master the Art of Shapeshifting: Fluidly transform into animals, each offering specialized skills for stealth, combat, or puzzle-solving. Your chosen form determines your strategy and approach to every encounter.
Norwegian Folklore: Face off against iconic creatures from Norwegian and Sami folklore, including trolls, hulders, and vettirs, each with distinct personalities and tactics.
Dynamic Political Landscape: The fjord is home to rival clans, each with their own culture, ambitions, and secrets. Navigate the complex relations as your choices influence the balance of power and the fate of the region.
Farm Reclamation & Base Building: Restore abandoned farms affected by the plague, turning them into thriving settlements. Each reclaimed farm provides unique challenges, puzzles, and upgrades.
Cooperative Gameplay: Experience Eydigard solo or team up with up to 6 players. Combine shapeshifting skills, tactics, and exploration to confront greater challenges and unravel the mysteries of the plague together.
