  Thinking about rebuilding CVR

  Today we'd like to share an idea we've been discussing internally for Club Velvet Rose: Midnight Bliss, and before making any final decisions, we'd love to hear what you think.Our goal is not just to polish the game visually, but also to improve the overall gameplay experience.One of the biggest changes would be a redesign of the quest system and the game's progression logic. We want it to feel much more natural to reach the scenes you're interested in without having to fight against complicated requirements or unintuitive progression paths.We're also planning to remove some unnecessary restrictions. Certain choices that currently lock you out of future content would no longer do so, allowing you to experience more scenes during a single playthrough while still keeping your decisions meaningful.Another important improvement would be reducing the amount of dialogue throughout the game. We don't want to remove the story, but rather present it in a more concise and engaging way, making it easier to follow and allowing the pacing to feel much smoother.Overall, these would be significant gameplay improvements designed to make the game more enjoyable, less frustrating, and more rewarding to play.But that's not all.We're also considering a complete visual enhancement of the game. Every static image would be upgraded to a higher quality, and all animations would be rendered again using our current production pipeline. The goal is to bring Club Velvet Rose: Midnight Bliss much closer to the visual quality of our latest projects while preserving the original atmosphere and style.This would be a major undertaking, so before we commit to it, we'd really like to know if it's something you'd like to see.   CVR - work in progress

  Today I want to tell you about the current state of development. I've made remarkable progress in implementing the story into the game script and continuing my work in enhancing all images to 4K resolution. Below, I'm presenting images from the early part of the game (before final quality control). Be sure to watch them fullscreen to make them shine. Despite using 4 times higher quality images, the game runs smoother, thanks to the code optimization and more competent asset management. In the following weeks, I'll be polishing this gem, trying to make every image look spectacular. I'm getting more and more experience in upscaling images, which is an excellent sign for other productions waiting in line for this therapy. There is a significant upgrade in terms of animations. All animations rendered for the VOLUME 2 are designed as 40 frames animations and selected animations from the base version of the game will be redesigned in order to make them look smoother and sexier than before. Also, I'm proud to announce that the quest system has been rebuilt. We have a new quest interface (too early to present it) and a slightly different philosophy behind it. It makes everything much more precise and allows you to make choices while being aware of their consequences. In terms of the music and sound, we're starting it from scratch and trying to prepare new music and ambient sounds, together with better moaning and sex sounds. Of course, we'll keep the theme song intact.   The rendering process is going great! I receive a new batch of images every week, and today, I want to share some of them with you. I was told that the rendering will be completed this year, so I’ll probably start the development at the beginning of 2025. Furthermore, I like the MIU character a lot. She will be a worthy addition to our game cast, and together with BEN from ELEANOR, they will become key actors who play an essential role in the story. I can’t wait to start working on this game again.
