Alaric's Quest is a hardcore platformer in disguise. Don’t be fooled by its cartoonish looks — this game pays tribute to classics like Ghouls 'n Ghosts and Prehistorik 2.
Expect to die a lot. But fear not! There's a God Mode for the less masochistic among you.

About the Game
Alaric's Quest is a challenging 2D platformer set in a vibrant hand-drawn medieval world. Take control of Alaric and embark on a deadly journey to recover your stolen book collection by surviving deadly traps, solving puzzles, and defeating ruthless enemies.
Oh, and yes — you’ll have to explore even the controls. Even the tutorial won’t hold your hand. Just like when you were a kid, with no internet, and your cousin handed you a random game with no manual — for the love of retro, go check the options menu! We won’t spoon-feed you here.
Available on Windows, Linux, and Steam Deck. Play with keyboard, gamepad, or touchscreen.
