About this game
Race and battle your friends using weapons and karts themed after Vtubers and content creators! All characters in game can be found livestreaming on Twitch.
Race through different Vtuber themed levels like TomaKey's Liminal Spaces or Meat's Silly Safari. Avoid traps like the sewer water in Rum&Coq's Sewer Hideout or Princess the Sabertooth in Fang's Jungle Jam!
Use Vtuber themed items like TwirlinCurtis' Zaku Zapper to stun enemies you drive past or turn into a ghost like Icy to speed past other players and their weapons!
Currently Southside Racing supports up to 8 players in online racing mode.
New Karts, tracks, and weapons will be added in every game update. Will do my best to get a new game update out every week!

Bug fixes.
Fixed Lap counter and checkpoints not registering. Fixed the reset kart button to match the tracks rotation and stop falling off. Updated character select screen to include small info box about the Vtubers with clickable Twitch and Bluesky/Twitter links. I fixed other bugs and stuff that I cant remember right now. Mostly network replication stuff like visuals not displaying for everyone etc. Also disabled movement/controller input for players during starting countdown. You can move as soon as it hits GO! on screen. Thanks again for checking out the game, leaving reviews, and joining the discord to report bugs and suggest game content. Southside Racing hotfix 1
How's it Goattin? Fixed the pause menu bug. Hitting Escape will open a pause menu instead of taking you back to the main menu. Added controls to options so players can actually see what the game controls are (whoops). Added the custom gravity system to allow players to drive on all kinds of weird/upside down racetracks. :WIP features for next patch: Customize karts with Vtuber themed stickers that change your vehicles tats (more turbo, faster top speed, better handling, etc.) Import your own .vrm based characters to drive the kart. Time attack mode for single player. Thanks again for all the interest and positive reviews for Southside Racing. SouthSide Racing Released
Southside Racing is now available free on Steam! Currently it's a single track with a speed boost item and speed boost portal. I need to see how physics work with public multiplayer games before I start added the rest of game content. I'll do my best to release game updates once a week with new items, karts, and/or levels.
