Embark on a unique adventure as you master the grappling hook to explore tricky puzzles. Create and share your own levels while managing an animal hotel and indulging in trash cuisine—Trash Bandits offers a blend of action, indie fun, and creative challenges from Crab Bucket Software.

About this game

"This is Grove City, kid... no one really knows where the city ends and the dump starts."

It’s garbage day! Play as raccoon thief Ricky Stripe in this fast-paced puzzle-platformer as he grapples, bounces, and rolls his way through Grove City - stealing from humans and animals alike!

SWINGIN’ VERMIN ACTION
Jump, climb, roll, slide, and use your signature grappling hook to swing and launch yourself through each level! Once you’ve mastered your moves, no one’s trash will be safe!

BECOME A HOTEL MOGUL
The ultimate fantasy: owning property! Scour each level for pieces of furniture to place in your animal hotel! Different items will attract different guests, such as Gorfman (the legally distinct orange cat), or environmentalist author Ted Catczynski! Try to collect them all - and, yes, you can pet them!

PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE
Move with caution, carefully avoiding each trap and snatching every item, or fly through levels at breakneck speed, building and maintaining as much momentum as you can muster!

BUILD YOUR OWN LEVELS
Use the level editor to make custom levels, placing platforms, enemies, traps and treasures! Download user-made levels from the Steam Workshop, and share your own!

    PATCH NOTES - v1.0.3

PATCH NOTES - v1.0.3 With this update, I've updated the version of the game engine for the first time in a while. This ended up causing some bugs, which I was able to fix relatively easily. However, there could be more bugs that I haven't encountered - As such, I'll be leaving this version of the game on the 'experimental' branch for a while to make sure there are no game breaking issues. To access the experimental branch: -Right click on Trash Bandits in your library -Go to 'properties' -Go to 'betas' -In the 'Private betas' field, enter the code "experimental" (don't include quotes) -Press "opt into experimental branch" -Make sure "experimental - testing branch" is selected in the dropdown menu to the right of "Beta Participation" CHANGELOG -Cardboard box prop is now available in the hotel by default -Salami has been moved to level 3-2 1.0 CHALLENGE WINNER EASTER EGGS -Added new billboard variation that says "Woof Stays Winning" -New billboard variation has been added to various levels -Added a secret area accessible by crawling under the truck in the hotel -Added a new fish that can only be acquired at the end of this secret area -Added a new hotel item, "IBS Crunchies" -Added a new hotel guest, Fifi -Added Le Chonk

Trash Bandits 1.0 is coming July 30th!

Garbage day is coming! Trash Bandits swings out of Steam early access on July 30th! Since early access launched, the game has gotten twice the number of environments and levels, a full story, an expanded hotel system, and more! Almost all of the 1.0 content is currently in the game, but it will continue to receive small tweaks and fixes until the 1.0 release date. While save files made in early access should still function, I would still recommend starting a new one if your save is more than ~1 month old when 1.0 launches. Additionally, I can't guarantee that workshop levels made several months ago will still function exactly as they did at their time of release. Thanks to everyone who's been along for the journey, and stay tuned!
