About this game
Start on an epic adventure of square proportions! Explore mysterious zones, conquer challenging puzzles, and engage in thrilling battles with fierce foes.
Unlock the full potential of your hero by collecting powerful items scattered throughout the land. The greatest of adventurers will discover hidden treasures waiting for only the bravest of explorers.
Parry bullets!
Once discovered, the Parry Bullet power allows you to parry incoming bullets and reflect them back at enemies!
Explore for secrets!
Does it look like a good fit? In HeroSquare secrets are everywhere, and good positioning is the key to many of them!
Power up!
On your adventure you will add new abilities and upgrades to your arsenal. Master them to reach the finale of HeroSquare!
Triumph in battle!
You will face tough bosses determined to stop your progress. However there's always a way forward, especially if one looks around a bit!

Play HeroSquare on your Steam Deck!
Hi all! While Steam's official Steam Deck compability review takes some time (unfortunately they don't tell you how long), I'm pleased to report that I have now reports from several people, including reviewers that HeroSquare has been perfectly playable on their Steam Deck :) Furthermore Steam statistics indicate that there has been substantial playtime recorded on Steam Deck devices and I have not been informed of any major bugs or problems!
