  Megaloot Mini Update v1.23.1

  Hello, Adventurers!We are releasing a new Mini-Update that adds some gameplay improvements, localization fixes, and changes for modders. Also, you'll have a chance to grab a copy of Megaloot with a 50% discount during Tiny Roguelikes 2026 until February 14th!Updates: New Features and Changes:Added search for market items.Dismantle will now appear every 10 floors.Fixed bugs with the Spanish translations.Modding changes:For modders: Added a folder that will load all files within it.For modders: Made the translation system folder-based; you can now just add your translation file to a folder to add translations for your mod.Thank you for being part of this amazing community.   Megaloot - Mod Support update (v1.23)

  Hello, fellow adventurers!We are happy to announce that we've prepared a new update that adds workshop support, new enemies, and other changes! Also, you'll have a chance to grab a copy of Megaloot with a 50% discount during the Winter Sale until January 5th!FeaturesMod supportFrom now on, it’s possible to create your own mods for Megaloot and upload them to the Workshop using in-game tools. You can find detailed instructions here - INSTRUCTIONS. You can also try out mods right away with the test mod, which rearranges the battle buttons.Other features and updatesReduced number of battles per floor. Beginning: 4 battles per floor, Floor 15+: 3 battles per floor, Floor 30+: 2 battles per floor, Floor 60+: 1 battle per floor.Added a refresh button to the merchant (but removed one slot).The main attack damage type won’t change during a battle anymore (it gets locked when the turn starts).New Enemy: BraskapNew Consumable: ZefrotNew Consumable: PallacNew Consumable: FroktNew Consumable: SteakNew Item: Golden HelmetEmperor’s Will now has a battle requirement.Buffed and fixed Ancient Shell.The Endless mode prompt will now appear on the last floor.Added multiple pages for the build planner.Fixed the counterattack dodge bug.Thank you for being part of this amazing community.   Sorry for the crashes after the update, over the next week I'll be releasing small updates trying to fix any crushes or bugs that happen. I've uploaded a build with some possible fixes, but it's not confirmed yet, so I'll appreciate any reports.

  Megaloot Update v 1.22

  Hello adventurers!We'd like to announce our new Regular Update (1.22), with the new features, new tome mechanics, new trader, balance changes, and bug fixes!FeaturesAdded Mystic Trader: He sells Tomes, Tinker Kits, and Insightus (they'll cost 3 diamonds now). Reroll costs 1 diamond.Tomes rework: Instead of auto-using tomes, you now learn them. All characters can learn 1 ability, but some can learn 2.Zephyron’s Tome is back.New Tome: Tome of Attacks.Dismantle: You can now dismantle without a cap, but the price increases by 5 diamonds each time and resets after every encounter.New Trial: Confrontation.New Item: Arcanum Hood.Buffed Silver Heart.Buffed Wooden Crown.After Floor 30, battles per floor are reduced by 1, after Floor 60, they are reduced by an additional 1.Changed passives for Perfect Slave.Arcanum set effect tweaked.Kinno passive tweaked.Vampiric set effect changed.New status effect: Bleed.Bug FixesFixed a memory leak on the live build.Thank you for being part of this amazing community.   Mystic Update Beta Test (New Mechanics + Localization)

  Hello everyone.Thank you all so much for supporting Megaloot. We love you and are working hard to bring new mechanics, improve balance, and, this time, an extra focus on localization issues.New Mechanics and balance changesWe’ve added a Mystic Trader. He shows up with Tomes, Tinker Kits, and Insightus, and he trades for diamonds. Tomes are back, but they don’t auto-apply anymore. You use a tome to learn its ability. Most characters can learn one ability, but some can learn two. You can now dismantle as many times as you want. But each dismantle raises the price by 5 diamonds, and the price is reset on the next encounter. Also, after Floor 30, the number of battles per floor reduced by one, and after Floor 60, it reduced by one more.Localization issuesThis time we’re specifically looking for reports on localization: inconsistencies, typos, mistranslations, style issues, and anything else. Please share anything you find with us so we can fix it for the next update!To make sure everything is working right, we need your thoughts. That’s why we’re launching a beta test for the update! Give it a try and let us know what you think, especially on localization, in the comments or on our Discord server.To join the beta test, select public_testing_branch - Experimental in the Properties > Betas section of Megaloot.
