  What's New in Tavern Ventures – Improved Gameplay Clarity

  We are pleased to announce the introduction of new features to Tavern Ventures that enhance both the game’s aesthetics and gameplay clarity. This update focuses on visual details and minor improvements designed to enhance the player experience.New cursor designsFrom now on, players will notice refreshed cursor designs. These have been designed to fit the tavern’s atmosphere better and be more intuitive when interacting with the environment.Currency RedesignOne of the most significant changes is the new design of the in-game currency.The previous coin was simple and minimalist. Now it has undergone a visual transformation—its surface is adorned with a distinctive skull engraving, giving it a more distinctive, medieval style that fits perfectly with the game’s atmosphere.Before: classic, simple coinAfter: coin with skull engravingFrom now on, the currency appears above the dirty dishes left by customers:you must collect the dishes to receive money,then take them to the dishwashing area,and wash them to keep the tavern tidy.New animations and tutorialWe’ve also added conversation animations for the character Cylindrix, who appears in the new tutorial. This makes interactions more dynamic and engaging, helping new players learn the basics of the game more easily.

  Welcome to the new year! It's another year of work on our game, which is taking shape better and better. To start with, here's a quick update on the latest devlog. As you can see, we've implemented our sketches into the game and are fine-tuning the new mechanics related to the kitchen and our customers. HoweverOur Tavern is not just about serving guests and preparing meals. Above all, the Tavern is a meeting place - full of conversations, stories, and tales whispered in corners.The rumors you hear are not just background noise. You can check each one out for yourself!We present you with a fragment of a world map marked with mysterious rumors. You can send your group of adventurers to each of them to discover what lies behind the stories of the guests.By embarking on such expeditions, you will obtain various items, valuable resources, and sometimes even unique ingredients that you can later use in the tavern. Every decision can bring new opportunities… or another story to tell over a mug of beer. Come spread rumors over a pint of beer on our Discord server.See you till the next one!

  Behind the Kitchen Doors: New Workstations Arrive!

  Hey there, adventurers! In today’s update, we’re taking a look behind the scenes of your tavern - quite literally. While working on the game, we realized that the kitchen workflow could be clearer, better organized, and more satisfying. That’s why we decided to thoroughly overhaul the backstage workstation system.New Kitchen Workstation LayoutUntil now, many tasks have been handled in a single combined place. That’s now a thing of the past! From this update onward, your tavern features a clearly defined set of kitchen workstations, allowing you to better manage workflow.-Cooking PlaceThe main station for preparing dishes - this is where you’ll cook soups, stews, sandwiches, and many other meals.-Oven (new!)A specialized workstation dedicated to baked dishes and anything that requires oven cooking.-Washing Place (new!)A station dedicated to cleaning dirty dishes.
