About the Game

Sigilfarer is a roguelite adventure where every decision rests on the roll of your dice. Set in a world broken by a magical disaster, you lead a group of wanderers through dangerous, ever-changing lands. In Sigilfarer, your strength isn’t just your strategy — it’s the dice you create.

The game is built around a unique dice system that reimagines deck-building. Your party is your dice set. Every weapon, shield, and piece of armor you equip changes your dice, adding new faces that define your attacks, defenses, and abilities.

Sigilfarer reimagines the deck-building genre, allowing you to shape your own destiny with a customizable dice system. Your party is the dice set; each sword, shield, and armor you equip becomes a die face, determining the attacks, buffs, and strategic options available to you.

Manage up to four characters in your team, creating unique builds and synergies tailored to your playstyle. The dice are crucial during the whole playthrough and represent abilities of the party.

Roll your dice in tactical turn-based combat, use them to overcome skill checks, and use them to renew resources while resting. Every dice throw can turn the tide!

In this roguelite adventure, you'll rely on your wits and the dice you craft to explore procedurally generated, open hexagonal maps. Each region presents diverse biomes, perils, and opportunities. Conducted runs will push you to develop your strategy and enhance your dice set with each attempt. Death is not the end, but rather a fresh beginning, allowing you to become stronger and wiser with each journey.

    Sigilfarer launches September 14! 🎲

Hey everyone! We’re getting really, really close now. Sigilfarer launches on September 14, and we finally have a few more details we can share with you before release. We’re still working on the game basically until the last possible moment, fixing things, polishing stuff, and preparing the next updates — but here’s what you should know before launch. Release date times ⏰ Sigilfarer goes live on September 14 at 14:00 CEST / 12:00 UTC.  Price & launch discount 💰 The base price of Sigilfarer will be $11.99 USD, with regional pricing adjusted for selected markets and countries. And for launch, the game will be 20% off. So, if you were already planning to jump in on day one, there’s a nice little bonus waiting for you. Party-Based RPG Fest starts the same day ⚔️ Launch day will be pretty busy for us. At 19:00 CEST / 17:00 UTC, just a few hours after release, the Steam Party-Based RPG Fest begins — and Sigilfarer is taking part. Considering how much of the game is about building your party, finding synergies and figuring out how to make your dice work together, this one feels like a pretty good fit. Definitely worth checking out!  We’re also cooking up a lot of bundles 🎲 There are quite a few bundles in the works. A lot of them connect Sigilfarer with games that share some common DNA — mainly dice mechanics, roguelikes and roguelites that we think are genuinely worth checking out. We’ll show you more once everything is ready! We’ve also prepared a new FAQ based on the questions you’ve been asking us here on Steam. https://steamcommunity.com/app/2436870/discussions/0/590688498095349840/ And yes, we know quite a few of you have been asking about controllers too. We’re currently testing controller support. The game is playable with a controller, but we want to be transparent here — it’s still experimental, so we’re not officially supporting controllers at launch. We’re testing it and seeing how far we can take it, but for now, mouse and keyboard remain the officially suppor...

The Final Stretch: A Closer Look at Sigilfarer’s New UI

Adventures! We’re getting very close to release (September 14!), so before you get your hands on Sigilfarer, we wanted to show you one of the areas that has changed the most over the past few months: the UI.A lot has happened since the earlier builds. Playtests, new mechanics, buffs, debuffs, additional dice effects and general usability feedback pushed us to rethink several parts of the interface.Welcome to The Anchorite CityThe Anchorite City is your main hub between expeditions. From here, you can access every major part of the city and prepare your party for the next run: adjust your characters, equipment, dice, formation and expedition conditions. And one thing connects almost everything you do here: Memory Shards. You collect Memory Shards during expeditions and spend them back in the city to permanently increase the strength and flexibility of your party. Spend them wisely. :)GuildThe Guild is where every new expedition begins. Here you can select the conditions of your next run and adjust the difficulty to match what you’re looking for. You can modify both positive and negative effects, creating a run that is either safer or significantly more rewarding. Want more Memory Shards? You may have to make things harder for yourself. Experiment with the modifiers and keep pushing the difficulty — your party will become stronger with every run.WarehouseThe Warehouse is your main equipment planning screen. This is where you decide which weapons and armor each member of your party will take into the next expedition. Different equipment can change much more than raw stats, so planning your loadout also means planning how your dice will behave once the fighting starts.MonumentAt the Monument, you can finally put those hard-earned Memory Shards to work. This is where you purchase permanent upgrades for your characters, dice, abilities and other systems that will help you during future expeditions. Every run makes the next one a little different — and potentially a little str...

Sigilfarer - battle, equipment, dice 🎲

Welcome, Adventurers! ⚔️🏹Today we’ll be talking about the most complex mechanics in Sigilfarer: A Dice-Rolling Roguelite. And yes, we meant dice, battle, and proper preparation! 💪Battle 🏹This is a roguelike / roguelite game, so don’t worry. You will lose some fights, and your party will fall, but it will make you stronger!Once you’re on the battlefield, you can’t customise the dice or change your party’s equipment. Please remember that! You can re-roll dice if you’re not happy with the initial results. You can also block one or few dice if you don’t want to re-roll them again. There are 4 types of dice sides: red (attack), blue (defense), green (heal), purple (mana). After binding all dice to characters, your party can perform specific actions (attack, defend, cast spell).Numerous spells and specials allow you to attack, defend, heal, summon helpers, or apply effects (e.g. fire, poison) on both enemies and your party.40+ specials, bonuses, effects, and modifications are in the game!Equipment 🛡️Every character has its own six-sided die. Each die can be customised and enhanced.Wearing weapons and armor boosts the power of dice and gives them special passive effects (e.g. vampire attack means damage dealt to an opponent restores your character’s health).Upgrades are available in the city hub, where you can strengthen dice (Monument building), weapons and armor (Forge).Buffs on dice can be stacked. You can significantly change the sides of your dice by trying and wearing specific equipment to increase its values powerfully.Buffs on dice can work together through synergy, they can complement one another. Some passive buffs are more powerful, but at the cost of decreasing dice value. Be careful, experiment, and try different builds. Sigilfarer is a roguelite, it’s all about trying again and improving - never give up!Wishlist the game now! ✅Watch the Release Date Trailer! 🎬See you on the road, Adventurers! ⚔️🏹 / Sigilfarer Team 🎲 LINK LINK

Sigilfarer: A Dice-Rolling Roguelite is coming out on September 14th! 🎲

Welcome Adventurers! ⚔️🏹Gather and equip your party, customise dice, strengthen your city hub, and prepare for the release! ⚔️ Sigilfarer: A Dice-Rolling Roguelite is coming out on September 14th, in less than 2 full moons starting now! 🌕 Watch the Release Date Trailer! 🎬Game Features 🧙‍♂️🎲 Customizable Dice SystemAt the heart of Sigilfarer lies a unique dice-building system that blends the strategic depth of deck-building games like Slay the Spire with the thrill of unpredictability of dice-based games like Astrea: Six-Sided Oracle.♟️ Tactical Turn-BasedEvery encounter begins with a roll, and from there, it's up to you to plan your strategy around both your own dice and those of your enemies. Each character in your party of up to four heroes has their own unique dice, tied to their equipped gear and abilities. 🔗 Builds and SynergiesBy definition, the items you purchase or gain belong to a specific character class. Fortunately, you may influence character synergy and manage your inventory, allowing selected goods to have additional statuses and skills that affect your companions. 🚂 Unique ExpeditionsNo two expeditions are ever the same, and each map presents a unique landscape filled with shifting biomes, unexpected encounters, and untold dangers. You’ll navigate this ever-changing world by gathering resources, engaging with NPCs, uncovering hidden stories, and deciding whether to face your enemies head-on or find clever ways to avoid them. 🎪 Camp ManagementYour movement isn’t unlimited—each step forward drains the energy of your magical sigil, the ancient artifact that shields your caravan from the chaotic forces of the world. Pushing too far without proper planning could leave you stranded in hostile territory, vulnerable to the dangers lurking beyond the light of your protection. Managing your resources wisely is just as crucial as surviving battles.🧟‍♂️ Wild CreaturesIs it conceivable that there is so much risk in one place? The realm fell to chaos and magic, pe...
