In Talented, navigate through increasingly perilous waves of enemies across 20 nights. Make strategic choices with randomly generated skill trees to outlast the demonic conveyor belt's challenges.

About this game

When Ed accepted the challenge of surviving exactly 20 days and 20 nights in The Demonic Conveyor Belt (D.C.B), he thought his Elite Mastery Professor had been exaggerating that it was 'the most feared dungeon of all'. This thought quickly disappeared into the fog surrounding him, when he passed through the gates of the dungeon to find the largest eyeball he'd ever seen. Would he forever remain just Ed, or could he become Talent Ed?

Talented is an arcade roguelite shoot 'em up with randomly generated skill trees. Survive 20 nights and defeat the dungeon to unlock all six classes, each with unlockable talents, abilities and challenges.

Send a hail of arrows, conjure powerful spells, brew unique potions, or call upon an army of snails to hold back the demons. The possibilities are endless.

  • Craft your own builds, with over 500 Talents to learn

  • Obliterate your foes, with over 100 abilities

  • Explore a new talent tree every run with randomly generated skill trees

  • Go Endless and push your builds to their limit

  • Master six classes, each with its own playstyle

  • Customise your character's loadout with class specific traits and skins

  • Challenge yourself, with 25 mastery levels

  • Explore new ways to play, with 10 challenges per class

    Devlog #106 - Skill Issue

Welcome back Talented Gamers! We're soon approaching the time to announce our new Talented DLC, but before that I wanted to run through some of the changes coming to Abilities in the accompanying 1.5 Update. We wanted to focus on some of the skills that have felt left behind as Talented's systems changed and inject a little more diversity into areas like Summoner's Helpers.Vortech Turrets were extremely powerful when placed but had a very punishing maximum turret count. We think it's more fun to have tons of turrets firing out loads of missiles so we've increased the cooldown of the ability and time between missiles but increased the maximum turrets allowed to 10 (up from 4).Don't Stop Me NowBy removing the ability to basic attack in the normal way, Rocket Man really cut off synergies with other Talent Packages such as quivers and critical strike chance. At the cost of one of its base charges and some of the Attack Speed it granted, you can now Basic Attack while using this ability!Although you won't be getting quite the same burst of Attack Speed, activating this ability is now a very powerful spike in damage. It also has strong synergy with additional shots as each shot will also add an additional homing missile. Finally, Vortech Traps rarely find their way into builds so we've added the duplication effect you may be familiar with from Vortech Shrinkray. Or-bit of a BuffAlthough we're generally really happy with the Orbs win condition for Wizard, the abilities have rarely been as popular as the Talents. Some of this is down to the Orb reset that occurs whenever you use Ring Theory or Atomize to create additional Orbs...So we've completely removed this reset, Orbs now instantly move to their original orbit whenever you gain a new Orb in the middle of a night. Additionally Ring Theory has been reworked to significantly increase Orb speed instead of moving them to a closer orbit (which was particularly frustrating in Auto-Cast mode).Atomize never really found a home aft...

    Devlog #105 - A Long Wait

Hello There Talented Gamers! In this devlog I wanted to talk about a rebalance inspired by a variety of feedback we've had, particularly in the last year or so. We recognise that, especially with endless mode, it can be hard to dip in and out of a run of Talented. While we're not in a place to be able to add mid-run save support to the game (even if we wish we could), we are making some adjustments to the game pacing that will reduce the average duration of a run while aiming to offer the same challenge level.Reclaiming TimeIn the 1.4 version of Talented the Night Length is increased by Mastery 1, 7 and 14. We're replacing all three of those Mastery Levels with other difficulty increases.Mastery 1 now increases enemy spawn rate after each Night (instead of increasing Night Length after each Night)Mastery 7 now increases enemy Elite Chance per Night by 1% (instead of increasing Night Length after each Night)Mastery 14 now increases enemy Maximum Health Points by 5% after Night 10 (instead of increasing Night Length after Night 10)Of course we're well aware that shorted nights mean fewer enemies and less experience points (even with the spawn rate increase), so we've added some additional rules that should help you progress on the skill tree:Experience gained from all sources increased by 10% in Standard RunsAbilities now cost 1 Talent Point (down from 2)Epic Talents now cost 1 Talent Point (down from 2)Legendary Talents now cost 2 Talent Points (down from 3)Portals now cost 2 Talent Points (down from 3)Mythic Talents now cost 3 Talent Points (down from 5)Next up, we're rebalancing Night 20 to be less about enduring 2 full minutes of enemies and more about a meaningful spike in hordes you're facing.Reduced the duration of the final night to be the same as the final Night music (down from 120 seconds)Spawn Rate is increased by 25% on the final night of a standard runEnemy Health is increased by 10% on the final night of a standard run (multiplies all previous additions t...

    Devlog #104 - Secret Tunnel

Hello Again Talented Gamers! We're still hard at work on the 1.5 update and we have two topics to run over in today's devlog! So let's not waste any time and take a look...ComponentsLast devlog we introduced Talent Chests and mentioned there would be a new type of consumable that you could expect to find inside them!Components are looted from chests and stored until you consume them. They do all things talent tree.. It might be enhancing your next Talent Package or even skipping through the Talent Tree Ninja style...Higher rarity chests contain even more powerful components helping you really break the rules of Talented... As if you needed another reason to track down a Gold Chest, check out Antenna!New Talent TreesThese become even more interesting when coupled with our second experimental feature of the devlog... New Talent Tree shapes...The circle Talent Tree will give you a variety of routes to take with Portals appearing in completely random directions. The Switch component is extremely useful on this tree!Don't look down! With the descending Talent Tree you'll want to watch your step, but if you do you'll be rewarded with an increased chance to find rare talents the lower you go!These special tree generations will have a chance to appear after you enter your first Portal, so they should add some extra variety for people who've seen it all before when it comes to Talented.... Better yet we have a couple of extra special "lucky" trees that you might stumble uponAnd that's about it for this entry in the devlog! Of course there are more components and talent tree shapes for you to find when the update drops! Until next time...Stay Talented

    Devlog #103 - Treasure Awaits

Greetings Talented Gamers! If you weren't already aware we launched a brand new game last week! Decked Out combines deckbuilding with a realtime cardslinging twist to allow you to destroy waves of enemies by throwing your cards right at them!If that sounds like your jam you can check it out here: Now let's talk about Talented's brand new core mechanic...Talent ChestsChests are a brand new way of getting a bunch of Talents, including many that you cannot access any other way! They are usually found on dead-ends and spawn more frequently the higher up the tree you explore. Better yet, they favour disconnected nodes that are central to the tree, so they might be the perfect thing to get you out of trouble if you feel like you've got a particularly unlucky Talent Tree seed.Rare MetalsThe chests begin begin bronze, offering a couple of Common Talents (that should always be useful with the removal of Dead Talents we spoke of last devlog).Bronze Chests have a chance to give Silver Keys which can then be used to open Silver Chests...Silver Chests contains Rare Talents and special Epic Consumables including those we added for the Gauntlet Mode in Beastmaster's Call. You'll be able to check on the number of keys you have at any time using the new consumable inventory to the right of your Combat Stats. If you're even more lucky you'll find the coveted Gold Key that allows you to unlock a Gold Chest...This is where the real fun begins, they offer Legendary Consumables that can do everything from giving your Abilities Multicast to allowing your basic attacks to fire an additional projectile......but there is something even stranger inside these lootboxes, for the first time in Talented history you'll be able to steal Epic Talents from other classes! We'll have everything from Warrior summoning Gravestones to Alchemist with Homing Missiles, we're looking forward to seeing how these mechanics interact, especially when combined with Ability Scrolls. So that's Talent Chests, we're going t...
