About this game
FOSK is my first game, which I created for fun and to learn programming. It's heavily unfinished, but I believe playing with friends can still be an enjoyable experience.
Why did I publish it on Steam? When I made this game, I was 16, and I simply wanted to release a game on Steam.
(the release date is 19.02.2025, but this game was in early access for about two years.)
Features:
-Character editor
-Over 40 different weapons
-Over 90 unique maps
-"Deck-building" cards
-Local multiplayer
-Controller and keyboard support
-Ton of bugs and imperfections
I hope you have a great time playing it with your friends!

FOSK: State of the Game and What I’m Doing.
Hello everyone, I occasionally see questions about multiplayer and the workshop. I want to explain here what I’m currently working on and what my plans are. If you don’t know, i’m an 18-year-old indie game developer with a dream of founding a studio and creating awesome games. FOSK is my first game, and i’ve decided to temporarily put it aside to focus on my next project. First games tend to be a big learning experience, and at some point, instead of improving the game, you end up rewriting old, messy code. As a beginner, the best choice for me would probably be to make small games, try to earn some money, or maybe get a job somewhere... But i’ve decided to dive straight into solo creating a RTS game with procedural generation, hundreds of units, multiplayer, and multiple factions with unique mechanics. Yeah, i have to admit it’s not the smartest plan (idk if I will succeed in making this RTS game). {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44111803/a1bd42be8ec5978a1f95a0cc4bcfe6254ee7315a.png Anyway, I’m managing. Over the past five months, i’ve worked hard, and many systems are already up and running. I’m also getting closer to alpha testing. Over the last two years of making games, I’ve learned a lot, and i hope to create amazing games in the future. I’d be grateful if you followed my game developer account on Steam so you’ll know when my next projects come out! https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45053012 Ah about fosk multiplayer - maybe someday. Hey! Small update here!
Ok... so it's been some time... Multiplayer? Uhh... not yet. BUT this update has some changes made before I started working on multiplayer, and I decided to add them today. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44111803/ac9572f351f3f209a3bb59f3d265081cff5ebc90.png Changelog: -Rewrote the entire player system from scratch. -Rewrote the entire game manager system from scratch. -Rewrote the entire card system from scratch. -Added half and full point systems. -Added new special abilities and cards with them. -Added AI bots to play with (their brains are really small). -Added an equipment system. -Added new levels in the tutorial. -Added draw. -Added multiple hooks. -Many, many, many, many bugs. And other things that I don't remember. XD Bugfix: -Fixed character customization preview. -Other bug fixes. XD Ok, I think that's it. I changed these things 2 months ago, so I don't remember too much. Have a nice day!Read full article on Community Announcements (terra)AnnouncementsOfficial
Help me and write your ideas.
Hey! Currently, I'm working hard on adding multiplayer to Fall of the Stick Knights! I come to you with a question... There was a lot of weak and old code in the game which I rewrote over the last 2 weeks to make implementing multiplayer easier (all scripts managing the game, points, players, cards, etc)... Now, besides the hook on the right mouse button, there can also be other skills. Do you have any ideas? Generally, the question is what else should I add? (besides the network multiplayer which I'm adding now anyway). PS. As for language support and workshop, I'll start working on them right after finishing multiplayer. PS.2. I know the gaming community might be such that nobody will probably respond, but I'm writing this so it doesn't seem like I'm doing nothing with the game XD. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44111803/16a5cda289613c9f60e9efe9f5d5a2bac1fb4942.pngRead full article on Community Announcements (terra)Patch NotesOfficial

Quality update and future plans.
Hey! Recently, I had some time so I worked on a few changes in the game. Since the last update, the following have changed: -map 30 rework (cars) -a few new maps or reworks. -stable camera on some maps. -new camera shake system (the previous one was too jittery xd) -weapons can't shoot through walls anymore (don't ask about the teleportation knife) -camera movement rework. -added an indicator if the player goes off-screen. -improved bullet ricochet system. -balance changes in cards mode. -new sound system. -implosions now stun player. -slowmotion gun slow also sounds. -shields fix. -some bug fixes. Regarding bugs, sometimes in card mode, input may be lost and you have to press alt + f4. I'm not sure what causes this, but I'll fix it once I understand it. I'll try to add online multiplayer to the game, but I'm only 17 years old and my knowledge/skills are limited, so I'm not sure if I can do it and how long it will take. If I succeed, I'll consider leaving early access and maybe releasing the game for $2.5 because I've spent a lot of time making this game. Future plans: -Multiplayer via Steam -Map editor -Achievements -TOT solo/coop mode And please report any bugs to me. I lost my Xbox controller, so I won't be able to fix anything in the coming days... {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44111803/91bf35aae2600dc64c843f277b546137d4fea23c.pngRead full article on Community Announcements (terra)
