About this game
Take on the role of a starship mechanic and pay off the immense debt your father left behind. Craft components, build starships, and take contracts from factions. Follow events across the galaxy, and pay the debt before the deadline.
Start by salvaging broken items for parts, then craft them into basic components. Unlock more advanced components and new starship blueprints, then build ships of your own.
Take contracts from rival factions, racing pilots, desperate strangers, or big shots across the galaxy. Each job builds your reputation, pays toward the debt, and pulls you into their stories.
Pour your earnings back into the workshop. Upgrade workstations and unlock underground hangar floors to build, repair, patch, and replace broken parts on starships. Restore the workshop to its former glory.
Uncover the truth behind your father's disappearance and the debt he left you. Earn the trust of rival factions, choose who to stand with, and shape how your story ends. All the while, a living galaxy moves around you, with elections, races, and conflicts unfolding in the news whether you take part or not.

Starship Crafter Demo - February 2026 Update
Hey everyone! We're excited to bring you a fresh update to the Starship Crafter Demo during Steam Next Fest! Based on your feedback and our ongoing development, we've made some significant changes to improve the overall experience. Here's what's new: Gameplay Overhaul: From Turn-Based to Real-Time Flow One of the biggest changes in this update is the shift away from the turn-based approach. We listened to feedback and realized that the day cycle needed to feel more fluid and natural. The gameplay now flows in a more continuous, real-time manner, making your time in the workshop feel dynamic and immersive rather than rigid and segmented. This change makes managing your contracts, crafting, and upgrades feel much more engaging. Mini-Games Removed We've decided to remove the mini-games from the demo. While they were an interesting experiment, we felt they were distracting from the core experience of crafting and building starships. By streamlining the gameplay, we want you to focus on what matters most: running your workshop, fulfilling contracts, and paying off that debt! New Language Support: Russian & Turkish Starship Crafter is now available in three languages! We've added full Russian and Turkish localization, including interface text and subtitles. Whether you speak English, Russian, or Turkish, you can now enjoy the full demo experience in your preferred language. Bug Fixes & Improvements We've squashed a number of bugs reported by our amazing community.
