Update 1.1 News + Chapter 2 Sneak Peak
Hello Everyone! We have some exiting news for Fear of Reptiles: Chapter 1 and your first look at Fear of Reptiles: Chapter 2! Starting With Fear of Reptiles: Chapter 1 Update 1.1. We are about 2 months after release, and have had more players than expected. But of course, because this was our first game, there were a lot of things we missed out on with first impressions with the game. To answer to this feedback, tons of new features are coming to the game. These include, but not limited to:Hardcore mode(Pack Hunt Mode):This new mode will allow you to fight up to 5 Utahraptors at once! You'll be able to jump straight to this part of the game as well when selecting this mode. But unlike the main story mode, you'll have no save states at all, so if you die, you lose and have to restart. This is a hardcore challenge that gives those who want to just play for the story the ability to do so, but also a separate mode now for those who like a tough mission to beat!Multiple Utahraptors Hunting You Down in Pack Hunt ModeOther Coming Features:SubtitlesNew Voice Lines to Help Hint to the Player on what to doUpdated Nightmare Sequence Ending to Make More sense on what actually happensReworked Velociraptor Collision for Out of BoundsReworked Environmental Fence objects to prevent player from going out of boundsReworked Electrical Wire System so collision is better and free up fps (Removed obi Rope Plugin)Pressing E with an Object in hand now puts it back into the inventoryRemoved Unnecessary fuses to make finding fuses less frustratingAdded prompts to generator and wire to prompt to the player they can do thatMassive optimization improvements in construction yard and velociraptor forest levels (We are activly still looking into ways to improve performance in Nightmare Sequence Forest Section)Extras Button that leads to ARG and Gallary of Artwork and Test renders of early development.
