  Another playtest done: Thank you!

  Hi everyone!Our latest Herdles playtest has come to an end. It is always a pleasure learning about your ideas and approaches, and hearing stories about where you managed to go with our Herdles, especially the Mothle that we added in this playtest.   Playtest Extended & Gamescom 2026 Recap

  Hi everyone!We’re back from gamescom and wanted to share a few of our favorite moments from the week!YOUR FEEDBACKSeeing so many people sit down and completely lose themselves in the world of Herdles was probably the biggest highlight for us ːdreamheartːSo many of you wanted to keep playing, and hearing Herdles compared to games like Spyro, Okami and Zelda was a huge compliment ːheart_eyes_yetiːACCESSIBILITYWe were also incredibly happy with the response to our commitment to accessibility.One moment that meant a lot to us was meeting someone who was able to play Herdles after struggling to find another game at the Indie Arena Booth that worked for their specific needs.Making Herdles as accessible as we can has been one of our goals from the very beginning, so sseeing those features actually help someone play the game always feels very special.It was also wonderful to see how many people care about accessibility in games. We even got to talk about our approach in a few interviews, which we’ll happily share once they’re online! SPYRO MEETS LINKWe usually describe Herdles as "Spyro meets Breath of the Wild with a magical dog".Both Spyro and Link stopped by to check out the game... and thankfully they approve of Herdles! ːwinter2019coolyulːINDIES SUPPORTING INDIESAnother highlight was just how lovely all the other developers were.Everyone was supporting each other, stopping by each other’s booths and sharing the games they were excited about. There were so many wonderful indies at the show and we’re hoping this won’t be the last time you see Herdles hanging out with some of them 👀PLAYTESTA lot of you asked if you could keep playing at home and some of you never got the chance to play at the booth because it was simply too busy.So... we’re extending the playtest!   Gamescom & Playtest

  Hi everyone! gamescom is here and we're hyped to be able to show Herdles in Cologne this week! We want everyone to join in on the fun, which means it’s also time for another playtest! 🎉The playtest is live now and will run until Sunday, August 30.For this build, we’ve added a few more things to discover around the Meadows including another Herdle you can finally meet:Meet the Mothle!Keep an eye out for some suspicious-looking flowers and give them a good BARK. You might just attract a new friend. 👀Interact with more things!We’ve also added more interactions around the world.See a bush? Bark at it.See something suspicious? Probably bark at that too.Encounter a weird spot on the ground? Probably worth digging a bit there!There are more and more little things to discover, so explore, experiment and let us know what you find!As always, we’d love to hear your feedback directly on Steam or in our Discord community.   We're going to gamescom! From August 26–30, you can play Herdles at the Indie Arena Booth in Hall 10.2. Come by, meet the team, and get your paws on Herdles!   Splashy Visitors!

  Hi everyone!We’re happy to announce that another Herdles playtest has started!We’re part of the Tidal Splash Festival, which is live now until Sunday, July 12. Since the festival is all about water, we thought it would be the perfect time to let you try something a little more aquatic.For this playtest, two water-based Herdles from a later region have made their way into the Meadows:Spongles can soak up water and release it in a burst. Very squishy. Very splashy.Nymphles help you move faster in water and even let you swim up waterfalls. Because sometimes the best way forward is straight up a waterfall.The playtest will be available until Sunday, so now is a great time to jump in and try new Herdles!We’re excited to see what you do with them!
