  Crescent Quest 1.9.0 - Steam Achievements

  Hello, Crescent Knights. You may have noticed that the Steam version of Crescent Quest now has unlockable achievements, this was done with the help of Zeriab's Steamworks Achievements Integration Package, a very large thank you to them! The game credits have been updated to include this.There are currently over 40 achievements to earn which I have spent the last week designing and coming up with, every achievement is obtainable and I will update any of them if there are any errors that make them unobtainable to make them achievable again. I was against the idea of adding achievements to Crescent Quest at first as it goes against my own design philosophy but I decided, hey, they are optional, so I came around to the idea of them. Each players experience will still be unique, of course. The world of Reltionus is more than a simple checklist, I made it to be a lived in world with many paths, characters, quests, items and so on that one player will see and others may not, Crescent Quest is of course inspired by MMOs, games in that genre are not meant to be completed most of the time and the definition of "complete" is different from player to player, some players will choose to become one of the best at fishing, others will choose to solely train their combat skills, some will try to complete all of the quests. With that being said, how you choose to play the game is up to you, no matter how you decide to play I have added rewards to benefit almost each and every kind of player and their style of play.   Crescent Quest 1.8.9 - Boats and Dyes

  Hello, Crescent Knights! This update, version 1.8.9, will be followed by another one. There's a lot of changes that are in the process of being implemented, expect a few subtle oversights in this version of Crescent Quest. I would also like to announce that the third expansion for the game is on the horizon!Note, if the game does not launch shortly after this update for some users then this issue will be fixed soon! Thank you all for your continued support of Crescent Quest.* Added a controllable, customizable and upgradable boat that the player can obtain. This boat can access many different islands and caves in the wide open seas of Keedbalt, more will be added to this in future updates.* Added color dyes and the ability to dye capes, this was meant to be in the game around eight years ago along with a quest that I'm still in the process of writing.* Added Snarlizkin's Market, you can find all sorts of unique items from him, that is if he's currently selling them. It's up to your luck whether you get the item you desire, many wares here were previously unused items I had planned for the game in the past, some of them even dating back to over ten years ago! This market is not available in Henodran Mode.* Added more benefits to having higher Renown, some shops now have more in depth discounts depending on the players Renown.* Added Feigndaggers, these are similar to protection daggers but without the defense.* Added the Honeysuckle Dagger.* Fixed a low FPS and lag issue.* Fixed a few sprites in regards to scenery objects.* Fixed an issue with the Crystal Shield spell.* Altered many pieces of gear including their stats and descriptions.* Altered the sprites for the Gilded Cape and Lygrant's Cape among other pieces of gear.* Altered aspects of Hardcore Mode.* Altered how the frozen status effect works.

  Crescent Quest 1.8.8 - Christmas 2025

  Hello, Crescent Knights. It's almost Christmas again and it's also almost the 11th anniversary of Crescent Quest, I have added a few more soon to be discontinued items, as usual these will not be available after the event! These can be obtained in Lusnayin City instead of the Cressora Town event portal this time.* Added the Arctic Fox Ears, Green Festive Bag, Festive Shield, Green Festive Shield and the Nostalgic Festive Sword.~ Previous Update Notes For Crescent Quest 1.8.7 ~* The king is now accepting visitors to his castle in New Lusnayin, the gates are unlocked.* The Brewing profession / skill has been added but is still being worked on.* Poison now shows on weapons.* Many item and gear descriptions have been fixed or updated to give more details.* Added something involving the Kyuwishu Guitar.* Added more dialogue and a shop to the wood cutting worker near Cressora Town.* Added more ore to the Mining Order.* Added more Crescent Ore around the world and realms.* Added more ways to obtain Sailing, Cooking and Brewing experience.* Added Kami Stones.* Added more detail to the Compestius Tower.* Altered Mythic Island.* Altered the stats of Soulavare gear.* Altered a certain boss on Mythic Island.* Altered the look of the standard chests, they also look opened now when an item is taken.* Altered the chest room after the Servaterior King.* Altered the sprite of the Deorliht Shard, Deorliht Hilt and Deorliht Sword.* Altered the design of Ancient Ore Isle and Ancient Ore Passage.* Fixed a few sprite errors on scenery objects.* Fixed a black tile and transparency issue.* Increased the XP needed to mine Crescent Ore from 24,740 to 527,928.* Moved the Cressora Christmas boss underground.* Moved the Resurrecting Mage underground.* Removed a Swifting shortcut in Cressora Town.* Updated the animal companion system and added the Animal Whistle.* Almost all holiday events are accessible at once at the Cressora portal.

  Crescent Quest 1.8.5 - Second Storm

  Hello Crescent Knights, it's been a few months without any updates. I have been very busy lately but during this time I have been improving the game and fixing a lot of oversights, glitches and bugs as well as changing the game for the better and making Crescent Quest a smoother and better looking experience.* Added the quest "A Crescent End", this is the final quest involving Wynion, Sentloer and Endor. For now.* Added a new city in the Keedbalt Outskirts.* Added a new guild, this one is for Slaying.* Added more moves to the Heat Spitehounds, they are now more difficult to defeat.* Added different kinds of eggs from the Cressora bird house.* Added Favorcapes.* Added some angel statues to Cressora Castle.* Increased the maximum amount of items the player can hold from 340 to 440.* Increased the rarity of the Spitehound Key.* Fixed an oversight with a certain chest in the Patrevane Forest.* Fixed a few tiles that were not intended to be walked on.* Fixed the "you feel something valuable" message on certain chests after bosses.* Fixed the transition from the monorail to Keedbalt.* Fixed an issue with Spirits.* Fixed an issue with the Clover outfits not displaying properly.* Fixed an issue with dismantling in the Crafting Kit.* Fixed a blank screen that appears during a quest.* Fixed an oversight with an elevator in the Amserith Kingdom.* Altered the design of the Crater Boots among other items.* Changed the "Weapon Ability" option name to "Special".* Changed the "Range Attack" option to just "Range".* Combat Type is now only selectable when wearing the Lusnayeon Watch.* The Easter and Saint Patrick's events have concluded.The second Guiladian Storm has appeared, go to the Keedbalt Outskirts to take part in it! This event will last for a month.
