About this game
The city where your vet clinic is located has been struck by a massive financial crisis. You're starting to feel hopeless when you receive a letter inviting you to join a cat rescue at the Muur Islands. Discover a new life in this mysterious island and its cat-healing traditions. Grow medicinal plants, craft medicine, diagnose symptoms, establish relationships with the townsfolk, explore every possible corner and untangle the mysteries the island has to offer.
- Grow and harvest medicinal plants native to the island.
- Craft treatments for different diseases.
- Accept patients that other clinics haven't been able to treat.
- Diagnose cats using various tests.

I've been busy in the last few months trying to prepare a little sneak peak of what 9 Lives will eventually be, and I've arrived at a small demo that showcases two of the most important aspects of the game: farming and treating cats! Devlog #1: Say hello to the farm!
Hello, everyone! A lot has been going on during the past months. Quite a bit of content has been added, including both new features and map areas. Today I wanted to give all of you a brief update on the biggest addition so far: the underground farm. Let's explore it together! Medicinal plant farming {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44058785/9f6548ee77d9a71647f40d5848f7fa7e81450f3b.gif This mysterious environment now has a fully functioning farming system, allowing you to plant, grow and harvest all sorts of medicinal plants that you'll later be able to turn into medicine and treatments for your little cat patients. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44058785/7545fcbe508008c4f95d7cd278a1b2590a8dc7aa.png There are a few crops in the game, but be sure that more of them will be added with time, as I have lots of different ideas for new treatment options that will help your cats heal from all sorts of ailments. Can't have a farm with no trees {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44058785/e8013364e73a51267f9fbc3d92493f4d534acb1c.gif Of course, some of the available medicinal plants will come from trees too. They work a little bit different than regular crops, but they're every bit as helpful. Mushrooms {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44058785/a590c439a32e87f5ec6966638555c0890c134f16.jpg The final type of crop that I've been working on are mushrooms. I could have made them work like regular crops, but I thought it would be a nice addition to have them grow in a more realistic way. They're really easy to maintain, too! It's a lot more work than it may seem at first glance, but the results are so rewarding and add lots of life and realism to exterior maps. Stay tuned to see more of them in the future!
