Welcome to Bonnie's Bakery!

Hi! I'm Bonnie, a hardworking baker who makes sweet pastries for the local town animals! Huh? Basement? Don't worry about that! Why not try one of my six pastries instead? I work hard to bake everything fresh daily!

In this cute, story-driven cooking game, play as Bonnie as she bakes up sweet treats for the local townsfolk! There are several game modes to explore and enjoy as you hop into the world of Bonnie's Bakery:

• Story Mode - In this mode, you play through the main story of Bonnie's Bakery, serving customers and baking dishes in the first half, and escaping the basement to freedom. The baking portion is a mix between visual novel and point-and-click cooking sim, while the basement is- No wait, there's nothing to worry about in the basement! Ha ha ha~
  
• Night Mode - Free yourself. Carefully sneak through the basement and collect all of the clues you need to get the keycode and escape. Navigate the basement in first person and watch out for her-
  
• Investigation Mode - Explore the cute, cartoon town filled with adorable animals, and follow the certain little nuisances that keep getting in your way in a first person perspective! Learn about them by following their every move and planning out your trajectory for your hunt!
  
• Hunt Mode - Deal with the adorable little animals you followed throughout the day by being quick or stealthy! You can choose to avoid being spotted by other NPCs or BONK anyone who gets in your way! Whether you're fast or sneaky, nothing matters as long as you can bag your target! Run through the same, adorable town with a darker perspective. . . Because it's night time!
  
• Endless Baking Mode - Being a baker is hard work! It feels like there are constantly customers to serve! In this mode, keep baking for an endless wave of customers, similarly to the first half of story mode! But watch out! You only have three lives, so if you fail too many customers, that's game over!
  
• The Ethereal Lady Book - Oh my! Someone didn't put this book away! Maybe you should give it a read? Play as the Ethereal Lady as you go through her story chapter by chapter! Protect your children from the horrible beasts that are running rampant with a real-time, turn-based combat system!
  
• Endless Bonking Mode - Bonk every ingredient with reckless abandon! See how high your score can go before the police are called! Stack upgrades and become the ultimate bonking machine as you rampage through the twisted city!

  Hello all! SoupDev squashed some small bugs that slipped through the cracks: - Dragging the cake tin to the Red Velvet batter would cause issues (and deny your customers their delicious cake). - Exiting the Bistro in the Dog Investigation level without listening in on the Dog and Squirrel's conversation and then re-entering the Bistro would cause the Squirrel to disappear.   Save File Hotfix 2 - Bonnie's Bakery Patch Notes 12/18/2023

  Hello all! Looks like our last save file hotfix still had a few holes in it! We've improved the save system code to hopefully squash the last few pesky bugs that were causing issues. If you've been getting stuck after finishing Baking Mode for the first time, this should (hopefully!) allow you to progress to the next level. If you're still having issues after this hotfix, please reach out to us! We've also fixed some of the battle tutorial text in The Ethereal Lady skipping, which was making it hard to read.   Want to access the content in the update but don't know where to look? No worries! Here's how to unlock the new content! Spoiler warning! For the Ethereal Lady Book, you can go to the library during the bunny investigation mode! The book should just be in the library, and you should be able to play through from there!   The Final Update Is Here!

  Hello hello everyone! The Final Update is finally here! Thank you all so much for your patience this past month as we've been polishing and bugtesting this final build! ​​​As you all may have seen from the trailer, this update brings two new game modes to Bonnie's Bakery! In this update, you can find: The Ethereal Lady Book​ - Oh my! Someone didn't put this book away​! Maybe you should give it a read? Play as the Ethereal Lady as you go through her story chapter by chapter! ​Protect your children from the horrible beasts that are running rampant with a real-time, turn-based combat system! ​Endless Bonking Mode - Bonk every ingredient with reckless abandon! See how high your score can go before the police are called! ​​​​Stack upgrades and become the ultimate bonking machine as you rampage through the twisted city! We've been hard at work to make this update the best it can be, and we're very excited to show you all the culmination of these last few weeks! Along with the new content, we've also fixed some minor bugs and boosted the performance of the game! In addition, the Steam version of the game now has Cloud Save enabled, so you can continue your baking and bonking on any computer! Now, you may be wondering why this is the last update we're making to Bonnie's Bakery. After working on the base game and DLC for the past year and a half, the project has grown a lot! Since the original game was made for a game jam, the base game wasn't really built with​​​​ this much expansion in mind, so the project files have become pretty unruly! We are definitely planning to ​expand on the world of Bonnie's Bakery, but we plan to do so in the form of other projects, rather than continuing to work off of the base game! ​ That being said, we're going to go into preproduction for our next project over the course of the next few months!
