About this game
After Earth ran out of resources, it started out daring explorers - like yourself - to faraway planets to mine, build, and transport back raw materials to save it, one shipment at a time!
Builderment is all about automation! Starting with the simplest of buildings and a handy-dandy teleporter, you can build a precisely engineered network that strip-mines the planet with unparalleled efficiency - or create a conveyor belt hell that wakes engineers up in the middle of the night. The choice is yours!
Every factory starts with the simplest of extractors, conveyor belts, and machines to convert wood, iron, copper, and dozens of other raw materials into something you can send back home. But that's just the start: With every shipment, you get the opportunity to research more items that will allow you to exploit the planet faster, more efficiently, and give you even more ways to construct the ultimate conveyor belt (playing with splitters is always fun!)
To properly complete your mission, you'll also have to extract coal and uranium: The more power in the system, the faster the extraction goes. Your coal and nuclear plants will keep the production going ever faster. But remember: There's more to a happy factory than just machines and reactors! Decorate it with trees, statues, and other attractive features to make strip-mining fun and attractive!

The achievements and hotbar update ✨
Hello factory builders, Achievements are finally being added to Builderment! Along with a nifty hotbar to quickly place down buildings. There are 24 achievements in total, there should be a mix of easy, medium, and hard ones. Leave a comment if you have suggestions for more. The hotbar holds up to 8 buildings of your choice to quickly switch between frequently used buildings. To change your hotbar hover over the building in the Build Menu and press the keyboard number to select it. Patch Notes: Added 24 Steam Achievements. Added hotbar to improve building experience. Fixed bug with items held by robot arms using wrong mesh. Increased Coal Power Plant duration from 15 sec to 30 sec (halving amount of coal required). Increased Nuclear Power Plant duration from 1 min to 2 min. Reduced Furnace Tier 4 speed to 300% to be equal with other tier 4 buildings. Introducing player writable signs!
Hello factory builders, Today brings a minor update with a big feature, writable signs! You can unlock them in the tech tree under decorations. After you place a sign you can edit the message and text color. Hello factory builders, I am excited to announce that the next update to Builderment is here! This update brings a bunch of performance improvements, quality of life features, and the introduction of Alternative Recipes! Before we dive into the patch notes, I wanted to share some important news with everyone. After reading through the reviews and comments you have shared since the game's launch, I decided to lower the price of the game to $14.99 USD. The majority of the community was in agreement that the previous price was too high for the content currently available and your feedback is extremely valuable to me - even when it just comes to price. To those who have purchased and enjoyed the game before this decrease, I want to express just how much I appreciate your support. Your involvement, feedback, and support mean more to me than I could possibly express. I know the price decreasing after purchasing something can be difficult to accept, but I want to reassure you that I will continue to work on additional content and adding to the game to bring more value and gameplay for everyone to enjoy. Patch Notes 📜 Alternative Recipes Alternative Recipes are unlocked through the tech tree and allow players to craft specific items with entirely different ingredients. For example Steel can be crafted with only Iron Ore and Coal instead of needing Graphite. However you'll need to use a mix of both normal and alternative recipes to maximize the use of resources in the world. Completely switching to the new recipes will likely cause other bottlenecks to develop in your factory! ⚙️ Selecting Belts One big quality of life improvement added is now you can double click on belts to select all other connected belts on a path.
