THE LEGEND OF THE OMNI TREE
The Age of Life
"A long time ago, Gods and Men walked the realm together. This was the Age of the Omni Tree. From its seeds came all mortal beings—man and beast alike. But when a God and a Human fell in love, it set in motion the end of tranquility."
The Fall and the Rot
"Soon, a WAR began. Crawth the 'Broken God'—child of the God Craw and a Human—led an army to commit the unthinkable: the FELLING of the Omni Tree. As the Great Tree died, its remaining unsprouted seeds began to rot. Born of those decaying seeds, the first MONSTERS entered our world."

The Alchemy Mages & Treadzar
"The abandonment of the Gods was soon the least of our worries. The multitudes of monsters born from the rotted seeds soon plagued all the lands. We, the Eight Alchemy Mages, tried to restore balance. With the ancient knowledge passed down from the Gods, we forged the HEAVY Sword—a blade designed to grow stronger with every monster it slayed. We gave it to Treadzar, the greatest hero of our age. He was to be our savior."

Forty Foes Demo Now Live!Forty Foes demo now live! Hopefully, you'll all give it a spin and leave feedback.I still plan to add an in-game "instruction booklet" that lists out moves, but let's be honest—most players are just going to jump in and start pressing buttons! (That's what I have always done myself with beat 'em ups.)If you want to know some moves, here is what we have:X button (System Key - KBM) is your basic attack.Tap a movement direction twice and then press attack to do an uppercut, which will send enemies flying straight up. If you hit them again while they are in the air after an uppercut, they will go flying.Hold attack to do a charged attack, which deals more damage.Y button (V - KBM) kicks. If you press forward and kick while in the air, you'll do a classic TMNT-style aerial kick.Press away + kick while punching or swinging a weapon to quickly kick enemies that are behind you.Press down + attack while in the air to do a ground pound, which will send enemies flying back.Tap attack twice while dashing to do a dash attack and blast through a wall of enemies.Hold block to block enemy attacks as long as you have DEF power.RT (C on KBM) will guard. You can use guards to knock back enemy spells!Multiplayer!I have been testing a bit and have been able to get Steam Remote Play to work! So, if you have just one copy of the game running, you can go into character select and invite friends to join.I have toned down some of the SFX to be less excessive based on player count. However, I have yet to attempt a 4-player game. If anyone does, feel free to post about it! My guess is I'll need to lower how often the heroes talk once there are that many players on screen.Leaderboards:You can unlock two achievements at the moment, and your clear time should post to Steam if you are logged in!
