About this game
The Knights of the Round Table have all fallen into corruption. Their once glorious estates lie in ruins, and Arthur himself might not be the legend the bards sang about.
Chosen by Morgan Pendragon herself as a new member of the Twilight Knights, you must rebuild Camelot into a fiefdom worthy of the ancient Knights of the Round Table. Slay enemies with steel and sacred light and explore Avalon to eradicate once and for all the dark forces plaguing the land.
With the resources you collect throughout your adventures, rebuild from the ruins of Camelot a fiefdom that stands the trials of time and the unrelenting attacks of the corrupted forces of Avalon.
As your new fiefdom grows and you open new districts, you will welcome new workshops and buildings – bringing in blacksmiths, druids, apothecaries, herborists and more to your land. Crafting and upgrading your gear is key in your journey through Wardens of Avalon, and taking care of your land and equipment will lead you to discover new quests and new adventures.
Avalon is a land full of dangers and opportunities, where every region has its own challenges, quests, enemies, and unique resources to collect.
Carve your way through handcrafted environments and explore ruins, forests and former bastions of the Knights of the Round Table. There, you will face legendary bosses in your quest to end corruption.
As you rise victorious, you’ll bring back key resources and items to improve your fiefdom and gear... before going back into adventure where even greater dangers await.
Experience exhilarating combat through a classless system designed to provide freedom to all players. Break your oath, swear a new one, and change your Twilight Knight’s build according to what the situation requires. Gather and craft mighty weapons and suits of armor, and imbue them with powerful seals to better suit your playstyle.
Use your hammer to strike and stun enemies, wear sacred armors to boost your fire power or assimilate corruption at your own risk to deal significant damage. Prepare to dodge, parry and master the elements when the situation needs it the most… but you will not have to do it alone.
Wardens of Avalon is fully playable solo or co-op up to 4 players. Form your own order with friends, manage your fiefdom together, defend it against enemy assaults and prove your worth in challenging encounters where teamwork and coordination are essential to achieve victory.
Team up with knights from all over the lands and set out on a mission to restore Camelot as the new Twilight Knights!

Playtest FAQ: Your Top 10 Questions Answered
Once again, we’d like to send the biggest thank you to all of the Knights who joined our Wardens of Avalon playtest. Your feedback has been fantastic, and we wanted to send a brief message to you here today, answering some of the burning questions coming from our community.We’ve rounded up the 10 most frequently asked questions to round them off here for you at the Round Table. Please do keep the questions and feedback coming! We hope our Knights will continue to have an impact on how Wardens of Avalon evolves and for that, we need YOU! Will Wardens of Avalon have couch co-op?We don’t plan on including couch co-op at the moment, with our multiplayer focus going into the online experience. Will Wardens of Avalon release on consoles?We’re currently developing the game for PC and this will remain our focus until we’ve hit our quality and stability targets. Will we release on macOS?We don’t have plans to release on macOS at this time. Will we release Wardens of Avalon on GOG?We’re focused on Steam as our storefront of choice currently, as it allows maximum flexibility for development and play-testing. We’re open to considering other platforms at later stages, depending on community feedback. What languages are planned?Our playtest was running in just English, but for launch we’re planning for French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish. How does multiplayer connect?At launch we’re offering two options for our Knights, with standard peer-to-peer connections, as well as partnering with Nitrado to offer paid options for players to rent dedicated servers. Will there be a character creator or character selection?We’re not including a character editor in Wardens of Avalon, and instead providing players with complete freedom of equipment, armor and weapons. The Wardens of Avalon Playtest starts tomorrow! Here’s How to Join.
It’s time to join the Twilight Knights as our playtest starts tomorrow, and runs until July 6! Join the fray today and have your say in the future of Wardens of Avalon, our Action RPG set within a dark Arthurian world!We have two ways for our brave Knights to join the playtest:Peer to Peer - The Wardens of Avalon playtest is available directly within Steam for those playing solo or peer-to-peer. Players can launch their own single or multiplayer campaign and have friends join them to rebuild Avalon. Importantly, friends will not be able to access the world server without the server owner being present, and progress will be limited to the host’s campaign.Dedicated Servers - We have a limited number of dedicated servers, allowing players to join a persistent world (with servers hosted by our partners at Nitrado). To create a free dedicated server for the playtest, you’ll need a code from us - which you can request here. This means any player can join at any time, without requiring a player host.For Knights requesting a dedicated server - once you’ve filled out the request link above, keep an eye on your email. We’ll be getting in touch to let you know if you’ve been successful, or whether you’ll have to wait for the next round to get involved with a dedicated server.If you are one of our lucky Knights that receive a code, you’ll need to follow a couple of steps to set up your free Wardens of Avalon dedicated server:Head to the Nitrado Wardens of Avalon Portal to redeem the codeSign up for a free accountEnter your voucher code and click RedeemThis will allow you to instantly claim your new server.
