Navigate through the twisted intestines of a giant as Jamboy and Billy, evading food monsters in this thrilling adventure from Nakama Game Studio.

About this game

Jamboy: A Jelly-cious Hero, is a vibrant action-platformer starring an unusual protagonist: a jam-packed hero who, inevitably, seems to have an innate talent for falling into sticky situations.

The game is structured around a series of short stories in episodic format offering a fascinating fusion of genres guaranteed to hold the player's attention. Adding to this ingenious game design is the charming aesthetic of its hand-drawn art, and sly humor, which adds to the fun of the gameplay experience in the style of the classic "Earthworm jim."

Jamboy and Billy find themselves in a frantic escape from a relentless police donut! Reflecting on the succession of unfortunate decisions that have led them into this complicated situation, they are surprisingly engulfed by an unexpected character: Damien! And who is Damien? It turns out he's a huge guy who happened to be right in their path. How unfortunate... that's what happens to them for not keeping their eyes wide open!

After this unusual incident, Jamboy is forced to enter the depths of the giant. A labyrinth of tunnels awaits him, infested by monsters made of food. Although the entrance to this fleshy cavern was unintentional, finding the exit promises to be a test of skill and cunning.

STORY MODE

Jamboy is trapped in digestive chaos and only you can help him escape. Snack Mode offers a mild difficulty level, designed for players who are new to the world of video games or prefer a relaxed gaming experience. On the other hand, Buffet Mode represents the full Jamboy experience, with increasing challenges and unique enemies, geared towards more experienced players. Whatever your choice, get ready for an adventure full of platforming, humor and unexpected situations.

LOST LEVELS

Want more? Once you complete the main campaign, you'll unlock new challenging levels designed to test your skills and expand the gameplay experience.

EXTRAS

Jamboy has even more to offer! Discover an achievements system and a gallery where you can relive your best moments and view all the audiovisual material you unlocked throughout the game.

Jamboy is just a nice jam-dude. He doesn’t speak much, so most things we know about him are through his actions. He seems to be a bit of a pushover, as his pal Billy always easily convinces him to take part in his mischievous plans. Maybe he agrees with his plans...or maybe he’s just to shy to say no. Will he learn to draw the line at some point?

Billy is quite the rebel. In his youth, he always did the opposite of what he was told. He likes to steal stuff and run away from the police...or at least that’s what his hobbies seem to be according to his dating-profile description, maybe he’s just trying to sound tough. He’s also quite the manipulative bastard, he always blackmails his best friend Jamboy into participating in his twisted plans. Overall, not the most pleasent fella, but he grows on you.

Jamboy, A Jelly-Cious Hero is OUT NOW on Steam (and Swtich, as it goes), and I can't wait for you to tuck in. This quirky platformer began as a pandemic passion project in 2020. I had barely watched acouple of Unity tutorials, but I was bursting with ideas, inspired by the games I grew up with, like Rayman and Earthworm Jim. I wanted to create something fun, absurd, and beautiful.Something that could make someone out there feel the same joy I felt as a kid.Years of drawing goofy enemies, writing the most whacky script imaginable, and decoratingjuicy levels like syrup on pancakes... and here we are. This is Jamboy. (Watch the Launch Trailer below, if you've missed it! Huge thanks to my incredible team at Nakama Game Studio. They helped me polish theexperience and pack it with content. Without them, this jelly hero wouldn’t be nearly asdelicious. This game is a love letter to platformers that shaped me, and to anyone dreaming of makingtheir games a reality. I hope you enjoy the game. And if, even for a moment, it makes youfeel like a kid again... then I’ll consider myself successful. If you enjoy the game please do leave a review here on Steam - this makes a huge difference, and will mean the world to our small team. Bon appétit,Néstor Schulten (Nestiboy)Nakama Game Studio
