Embark on a mission as a top MI6 saboteur in Nomad Station, where you can either follow orders or explore the lunar landscape to uncover new weapons and defenses. Experience the thrill of first-person shooter VR gameplay in an indie sci-fi adventure released in 2023.

About this game

In the 22nd Century people have settled the near-side of the moon, building massive mining operations for the benefit of Earth, while neglecting the needs of the Lunar people. Tensions with Earth are building, and hit a boiling-point when in 2134 a rogue nation suddenly seizes as much Lunar property as it can with deadly force. As an MI6 agent, you are sent to a mining station taken over by enemy forces in the Hadley-Apennine region. Eliminate the invaders, and frustrate their efforts! You're on your own, so be resourceful. Fight for King and planet!

A Lunar Environment

Feel how lunar gravity affects your gameplay. Achieve mad hops, send enemies flying, bounce around in the Lunar Pressurized Vehicle (LPV), or take off with a jetpack!

Choose Your Weapons

Whether you are a gunslinger, heavy gunner, swordsman, or just like blowing things up, you will not be left out. Take on the enemy with a mixed arsenal of weapons that would otherwise weigh you down on Earth!

Freedom of Movement

  • Walk or run freely through the experience with smooth VR room-scale locomotion featuring 30 degree snap-turn for comfortable seated gameplay! Smooth player rotation is also supported as an option.
  • Standing or sitting, the game knows the difference at all times so you do not have to pause the game to change between the two modes.
  • No need to reach. Lightly hold the grip button and cast a laser to the objects you want to grab, then press fully to teleport them into your hand!

    Major Price Drop!

As Professor Farnsworth would say: "Good news, everyone!" After a stellar year, I am pleased to announce Nomad Station's first price drop, and its a doozie! This is my first published game I have made on my own, and never really expected to make money off of it. In fact, half-way through its development, I didn't even consider publishing it, and originally intended it to be just for myself, and portfolio building. I'm enormously glad I published it, and shared it with the world. It was so cool and rewarding to see others play and enjoy my humble game, and its high time that the price came down so more people can enjoy it, and get inspired to make their own games, as I have done. With consistent commitment to a goal, amazing things are possible!

    PC Playability Update

In its first major update, Nomad Station is now accessible to players without a VR headset! VR players now have the option to start the game with or without their headset. Simply launch the game and it will detect if there is a headset connected and the input will be adjusted automatically. Included in this update: PC compatibility implemented Ammo count displays now in more convenient location Added option to turn-off sitting height detection Squashed these bugs: -Grenades occasionally pass through walls when thrown -Weapon belt moves around too much when trying to laser-grab a weapon from it -Other minor pesky bugs

    Release Date July 15th

Get ready to jump into the action and prevent a rising threat from making early gains in a surprise military invasion of the Moon! The seizure of Nomad Station threatens the safety of all colonists in the Hadley-Apennine region! You will be a lone agent up against an army. Even in space, It will not be a quiet mission. Updated Trailer From the Developer It has been such a journey creating this game. After a year and a half of development, I am excited to finally release it. As a 3D artist, Nomad Station has been the greatest learning experience. Aside from modeling almost everything myself, I was able to learn what it is like to be a programmer, voice actor, sfx editor, writer, and briefly a content promotor all in one project! They are not easy jobs, but I also now have an idea how rewarding they can be for those with the skill to be them full time! One of the biggest takeaways for me as a visual artist is a new profound appreciation for the talented folks that bring games to life through the nuts and bolts, and not just the visuals. I hope you enjoy playing Nomad Station as much as I enjoyed making it! -Derek Moritz
