About this game
A free-to-play turn based RPG that serves as a short demo. It is a fair gauge if you as a player may or may not want to pick up the full games.
The main story is a short series of quests to help Anri recover an artifact.
Meet interesting people.
Recruit new party members.
Learn about your party members and the region you are exploring.
Explore the world and fight challenging turn-based battles.
Repeatable dungeons with harvesting and chest nodes that reset.
Play fun mini games.
Gather food and cook it.

In addition to the base game, we have the following DLCs available:
Optimization DLCs: a free download for Luminous Skies: A Short Adventure and one for Interstellar and it is intended to be used on lower end operating systems.
The other DLCs are are effectively 2 games and 1 big expansion pack in a trench coat.
Luminous Skies: The Pilgrimage: A standalone game set prior to the events in A Short Adventure and Horizons.
Luminous Skies: Horizons: an add-on for A Short Adventure. It adds a many new quests, new encounters, new overworld zones, secrets, weapons and armors, and new party members. We hope to add additional content on a regular basis. Mainland and new world access has opened up for more exploration. If The Pilgrimage is a standalone game, Horizons is a standalone expansion pack.
Luminous Skies: Interstellar. Another standalone game, this time set in a Sci-Fi setting. Explore many worlds and contend with the Solar Regime and their plots to conquer all of known space.

In some ways, these games have more in common with games of the 1980s or 1990s than those of the current year.

Luminous Skies: Update June '26
Horizons Update:Added interior zones to the resort town of Shorehaven. The player can visit the inn sleeping quarters, houses, basements, additional floors, and an Imperial Storage house.These areas aren't exactly the most flashy. But they serve to lay the groundwork for additional conversation opportunities. Additionally, it gives an opportunity for lore and worldbuilding. It will strike a lot of people as wrong but worldbuilding isn't an endless exposition dump. Worldbuilding to gives the player enough information so that they can understand the world around them (as well as those that inhabit it). For example, the player can now enter the storage house in front of the Shorehaven port and inside they can find a stage with a couple of signs indicating the sale of salvaged cargo from wrecked ships. It's a very small and unobtrusive detail added to the world that can be skipped.Going forward, please expect to see many updates like this. Luminous Skies: Update May '26
Horizons Update:Added a quest, sub dungeon, to the game. Head south of the Imperial Capitol to the fort. At the fort, head to the world gate on the eastern side and select: "West Royal Outpost". Exit the outpost and through the eastern passage. Enter the trail icon to enter the explorable area (it's just north of Eiji City, in the northern frost regions). This is one of those regions that was created but I am unsure of its purpose at this time. There is a wraith boss encounter available in this new region. The monster was being used as a placeholder. It'll likely stay as an optional encounter in the area but I may add to this zone in the future, should the need the arise.If you're unsure, the demo, A Short Adventure, would be a fair gauge if you as a player may or may not want to pick up the full games. We currently have a 20% discount for Luminous Skies: Interstellar and The Pilgrimage. There is also an 80% discount on Luminous Skies: Horizons. And of course, if you're thinking about picking up one of the DLCs, why not pick up all of them? There's an even deeper discount if you buy in bulk. If you were on the fence, this is your opportunity to buy them all. These deals last until April 20th. This would be a great opportunity to pick up the Horizons DLC on its own. Then you could pick up the others when they go on sale again and combine it with the discount bundle (a complete the set bundle). Luminous Skies: Update April '26
Horizons Update:Added a quest, sub dungeon, to the game. Head south of the Imperial Capitol to the fort. At the fort, head to the world gate on the eastern side and select: "East Royal Outpost". Exit the outpost and head east to the coast. Enter the trail icon to enter the explorable area. There should be a cave that is obscured by a cloth doorway on one of the hillsides. This should reveal a dungeon for the player to explore.
