About this game

Commander, we need you!
The world as we knew it is gone. A devastating meteorite strike has turned the Earth into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. But amidst the destruction, a new hope emerges: powerful energy crystals have been discovered in the ruins of Section Gamma.
Take command and lead your faction in an uncompromising, turn-based battle for survival. In a time of scarce resources and constant threat, the fate of your people rests solely in your hands. Make far-reaching decisions, always stay one step ahead of your enemies, and secure absolute dominance.
Your tactical features at a glance:
Pure strategic skill: Rely on careful planning instead of luck. The turn-based battles are completely free of RNG (random number generation)—your mind and forward-thinking tactics alone decide between victory and defeat.
Resource management: Mine valuable crystals and invest the earned credits into constructing new buildings and powerful units. Always keep an eye on your power management, which adds another layer of strategic depth to the game.
Two unique factions: Choose your side. Each of the currently two factions offers completely different units, abilities, and play styles.
Research & Upgrades: Invest in new technologies and upgrade your army to withstand even the fiercest battles.
Versatile game modes: Dive solo into a gripping story campaign, challenge friends in thrilling single matches, or team up against relentless AI opponents.
Section Gamma demands everything from you - all your creativity and strategic skill. Take command today, secure the crystals, and lead your faction to the top!

Arriving in the coming weeks, this packed update is designed to massively shake up the battlefield, especially in the late-game. Here is a sneak peek of what to expect: Upcoming Highlights The Orbital Laser: Our new superweapon! Available to every faction, this will bring a lot more excitement and tactical challenges to the late stages of a match. Be warned: The AI is already very eager to use the laser against you. New Research Buildings: Both factions are getting a brand-new research building. This will serve as a crucial new prerequisite for various actions and technologies. Hacker Upgrade: A new upgrade will empower your Hackers to blow up buildings and obstacles on the map, opening the door for entirely new tactical possibilities to dismantle enemy defenses. Update 0.30.12: Scroll Fixes & AI Optimizations
Hello Commander, Update 0.30.12 is now live! Patch Notes 0.30.12Scroll Speed: Since switching to the new input system, all scroll lists in the game were far too sensitive. We have fixed this and adjusted the scrolling speed back to a normal, comfortable level. Building Defense: A bug has been fixed that prevented the player's units from attacking a building in an area that had been captured by the AI as intended. AI Infantry Production: We further optimized the AI so that it now only produces infantry units based on actual need. Our previous fix unfortunately didn't yield the desired improvement, but this has now been properly resolved. We hope you continue to enjoy the game. Fog of War: The fog now darkens correctly again when no friendly units are in the vicinity. Power Shortage: Buildings deactivated due to a lack of power now correctly display their status. AI System: Resolved a bug in the internal event system that caused occasional AI dropouts. RoadmapOver the next few weeks, we will be migrating to the new Unity Input System. This change will further improve usability on the Steam Deck and resolve current issues with various controllers. We are also working on the integration of a Super Weapon, designed to make the late-game phase of a match significantly more engaging.
