Meet The Cast! - Part 1
Hi everyone! We’ve been hard at work preparing a demo that should be on Steam by the end of the year, but in the meantime, we wanted to show you some of the stuff we’re working on! As you make your way through the game, you will meet a diverse group of characters that will assist you in different ways. Today, we’ll highlight two of them. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45046520/d4561614d77643b4bd3e745bb4f8f8afaa09a991.png First, we have Klaya. She’s a happy-go-lucky dryad who specializes in alchemy, and she will use her talents to turn gold into blueprints for decorations you can then later use in your Guild and in every dungeon you visit. She’s constantly updating her inventory, so be sure to visit her every time you visit your Guild! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45046520/de3f62c70aca8732bdf5aedf3835b9abbed21c24.png On the other hand, we have Blacksmith Duncan. He’s a stern-looking but friendly minotaur who will improve your tools at his smithy -for a price- as he tells you how you can be more effective in combat. Be sure to check on them every time you visit the Guild, since not only they will have more options available to you, but they might also need your help solving personal issues of theirs. That’s all we have for today! Take care, and be sure to follow us on Discord for more updates!Read full article on Community Announcements (Them Handsome Fellas)AnnouncementsOfficial
FAQ
Hi everyone, we’re all super happy by the support we’ve received since our announcement! We’re currently working on a demo that will be available to members of Discord in the upcoming months, but until then, we wanted to ask some of the more common questions we’ve seen in other games of this genre. Q: What were your inspirations? A: Our main inspirations are “House Flipper” and the “Legend of Zelda” franchise, especially the “Link’s Awakening” remake that came for the Switch. Additionally, other games that have inspired us in look and feel, like “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”, “Bear and Breakfast”, “The Sims” and “The Tenants” Q: When will it be released? A: Our first plan would be to launch in Early Access in Q2 2025, with a full release for Q1 2026 Q: How long is the campaign? A: We’re aiming for 8-12 hours for the main campaign, but we’d like to expand this with additional DLC that contains more dungeons, tools, enemies and decorations. Q: Will there be a demo? A: There isn’t one yet, but we want to release a public one on Steam before the end of the year, and we’ll send pre-demo builds of the game to members of our mailing list and Discord members to gather feedback. Q: Does it support controller? A: It absolutely does! One of main considerations when developing the game is that the controls feel good on both keyboard and controller. Q: Is there multiplayer or co-op? A: We’d love to add co-op, but it’s not something we’re looking to add right now. Q: What engine did you build it in? A: Unity Q: Can I remap controls? A: Not in the current build, but this is something we want to add for the final game Q: Does it run on 4K/Ultrawide monitors? A: Not at the moment, but this is something we’re open to looking into. Q: Does it run at 60 FPS? A: Yes! Q: Will there be modding support? A: One of our plans is to release Steam workshop support to add your own decorations into the game, but that would be a post-release update. Q: Will you release "Cozy Dungeons" on Nintend...Read full article on Community Announcements (Them Handsome Fellas)
