1 Grandma out for Revenge

Berry Hunt Survivors is a Reverse-Bullet-Hell Game with Rogue-lite elements. Choose your character, defeat enemies, learn new abilities and destroy the big bosses!

All Grandma wanted to do was make her delicious jam, but the evil Francis & Felice sent their heinous monsters to steal the fruits of her hard work. Now, she‘s out for revenge!

Play as grandma or grandpa and take back what's yours! Choose from many different active and passive abilities to defeat the onslaught of enemies. Collect berries to level up and get new abilities. Collect gold to permanently upgrade your skills between games. Fight your way thorugh the hordes of evil and beat the challenging bossfights to unlock new levels and characters!

Tip
All active abilities get a special, very strong upgrade once you level them to level 5!

Tip
Dentures are a very save but also strong starting ability. Since they have no cooldown they deal damage almost all the time, especially if there are lots of enemies on the screen. They are also largely independent of your position giving you the chance to concentrate on running away and collecting gold and exp berries!

Tip
You can reroll the abilities in the level up screen by pressing the dice on the right! You can also press R on the keyboard, or the X button on an Xbox Controller, or the Square button on a PlayStation controller. The first reroll is free, but it gets more and more expensive from there.

Tip
Some abilities have scaling. Icebolts for example scale with ice kills. They are weak early on but can become really strong if you get enough kills with (other) ice abilities. On their own they won‘t scale much, so make sure you have at least one other ice ability. But don‘t get Icebolts too late either, because then they won‘t have time to scale!

Tip
Your chances of getting certain types of abilities are higher if you already have one or more of that type. If you want the Firebolt it might be a good idea to skill the Firepillar so you‘ll have a higher chance of getting it in the level up screen!

Tip
Mimics are special enemies, they are rare and spawn randomly. They are tough to fight, but drop a lot of gold, so keep an eye out for them!

Tip
You can play with keyboard, mouse and controller! Use W, A, S, D, the arrow keys or the left stick on your controller to move around and traverse the menus. You can bring up the Pause Menu with ESC or the Start button on your controller.

    Update v1.1.0 - Achievements & Bugfixes

Players! In this update we introduce achievements, a timer and a bunch of bugfixes. Achievement There are 16 of them, most of which can be unlocked retroactively, meaning for example if you already collected more than 10k gold, you will get the "Rich" achievement as soon as you open the "Skills" screen. Happy achieving! Timer There is now a timer that you can activate in the options. Bugfixes We also fixed a bunch of bugs: Hardmode Fixed a bug were hardmode didn't actually do anything sometimes. Gold ability Fixed a typo that said "2% more gold" instead of 20%. Icy Sphere The first upgrade was mistakenly free and now costs gold again. Skills If you had unlocked the last meta upgrade you would be shown the first one again, it now always shows the last one if you unlocked everything. Input lag after Pause/Level Up Sometimes the player would not move for a short moment after the Pause/Level up, this should be fixed now. Level selection After playing the Graveyard level the level selection was bugged and showed an empty level in the first slot. Poison Breath Some enemies would not get hit by poison breath even if they stood directly in it. Crit chance The crit chance is not displayed in the description text of the meta upgrade.

    Update v1.0.2

Dear Players, in this update we're activating Steam cloud saves, which enables you to transfer game progress between different devices and installs. If you have previously played on multiple devices Steam will prompt you for which save game to keep. If you don't want to use Steam cloud saves you can disable it by navigation to the game in your library and deactivating the feature under Properties -> General. Ninjas could previously move even if they should have been frozen in place by an ability, this is now fixed. The mouse cursor is now hidden ingame, except in menus or if you move it. And the game pauses should your controller disconnect during play. If you find any bugs please let us know and we will fix them ASAP. Best wishes

    Update v1.0.1

Dear Players, in this update we fixed a bug in the skill screen where the game would buy skills that you didn't intend to buy. We also introduce a refund option, so if you were affected by this bug, or just want to skill differently you can now refund all your skills. We also made some slight changes to the ability selection with a controller, to make the experience more smooth, and removed some unnecessary code for minor performance improvements. If you encounter any bugs please let us know, and we will fix them as soon as we can. Best wishes, bareminimumgames
