About the Game
A mood heavy action-adventure, Unbroken takes players on a grindhouse journey to Crests Edge in search of the traitor Nielsen. With multiple routes to achieve your goal (or even abandon it), the ascent to one of the multiple endings will be a memorable one.
With a unique lore structure and one of a kind audiovisual composition, Unbroken will take players on a trip.

With its social structure and customs, choose and forge your path through Crests Edge.
Over the top Tarantino'esque visceral bursts of violence. String your combos in a brief, stylish ballet of death before moving on to the next one.
With a timeline that progresses with gameplay, events and backstory evolve based on players' actions and related powerplay happening in the background.
The trail has led you to the kingdom spanning the North, far away from your homeland.
Your word is your bond. You will track down the traitor Nielsen, seeking refuge somewhere in Crests Edge, and bring him to justice, dead or alive.
But be wary, Stranger: the realm is now engulfed in chaos. Along with the Feast of the 3rd Moon and the ongoing Earl's Rebellion, your journey will not be for the faint of heart. You will have five full moons to complete your quest. The clock is ticking!
You will prevail. Take up your arms and go forth and uphold the honour of our crest.
I Will Pray Day and Night For Your Safe Return...
The realm of Crests Edge is large and diverse. Featuring many biomes, classes, and so forth, you will experience how the Township evolves with your ascension to your goal.
It is worth noting that due to the severe classism in the realm, you will witness stark contrasts in technological advancement, architecture, style and attire, and the attitude and language of the characters you encounter.
The lowest-poorest regions are similar to those of medieval times. In contrast, the higher you get, the larger the technological gaps become, with the wealthiest regions being more akin to industrial Victorian / WW1 times.
The game's style is a next-gen re-imagining of classic sprite-based FPP games such as Tekwar, Disruptor(PS1), Witchhaven, etc, whilst aiming for an interpretation of how one would remember these games through rose-tinted glasses. So keeping the sprite retro aesthetic, whilst bringing it into modern times with advanced shaders and lighting, physics and ragdolls, destructible environments and in synch with the dynamic jazzpunk OST, Unbroken is sure to leave an impression.
A unique gameplay flow and vibe. Neckbreak players ought to feel right at home.
The Resin: the potent oils will grant you bullet time in varying forms. Use them wisely, applying the right resin at the right moment can be a matter of life and death
The resin kick: give your enemies a free flying lesson or turn multiple inanimate objects into deadly, large caliber projectiles.
Classist-based lore. With ascension into the realm of Crests Edge, players will witness an evolution of technology, style, language, architecture, and more
A jazzpunk Original Dynamic Soundtrack by Roland Redwood (previous works include Sinless, Neckbreak
Punch through system: combat will be juicy with volumetric blood splashing in all directions, and see through holes ripping through your enemies directly at the point of projectile entry.

UtA x PAX West 2026 and 1.0. update
Dear Travellers. The Early Access journey is taking a bit longer than expected, but the finish line is on the horizon and closer than ever. I'm happy to announce that the pre 1.0 UtA build qualified for the official Polish booth at PAX West Seattle 2026! So the best way to check out the 1.0. Release Candidate is to try it out at the show. And if no critical issues are found, 1.0. should drop either during PAX or 1-2 weeks after the show concludes. TLDR: UtA 1.0 = September 2026. Hope to see you there! Will post more news closer to the show. For now, the Polish booth number is 925.Over the last months, feedback was coming in slowly but surely and thanks to it, A LOT of bugs got fixed and/or addressed. Huge shoutout and thanks goes out to M.D.M.86. , Tommygun, Sinth , Cris Rolan. Now it is just a matter of fine tuning related materials: creating a 1.0. trailer, steam trading cards and similar. Recently made a new keyart, which you can see on the announcement graphic. As for the update itself: this is going to be the biggest one yet! It's really going to be huge. To name a few of the goodies in store: New endings, new levels, new tunes, new enemies, new achievements, new systems and huge amount of bugfixes and polish to existing content. The game got a bit bigger than initially planned whilst in other areas it got smaller. For example, the original 3 planned endings got bumped up to 9! Whereas localization sadly had to take a backseat: planned German/French/Italian translations will have to take a backseat due to sales underperforming in those regions. Of course, I will gladly pick this back up, if there is a high enough demand.Stay vigilant fellow Unbroken, the Feast of the Moon is almost nigh. Thanks for tuning and till the next one!MikeRead full article on Community Announcements (MGP Studios)Patch NotesOfficial

UtA 0.9.5. Homerun (1.0) Open Beta Update is live!
Greetings fellow Unbroken,The 0.9.5.A (1.0 Homerun) update just went live. If you have the game purchased, simply switch to the open beta channel by right clicking the game->properties->Game versiosn & Betas. No password needed, simply select the HomerunOpenBeta channel and it will download automatically. I'm expecting the Open Beta to last 2-4 weeks.Releasing this a bit early, since I will be in transit today and not sure when I will be back online, hence this will be the safest option to avoid further delays. Originally wanted to release together with the weeklong sale, but this will start automatically later today at 7PM CET. This will be the last chance to grab the game at discount+pre 1.0 price. I ultimately decided to release it now, but still have new stuff coming to my todo list. Knowing how it is, this will most likely never end, as there will always be something to find that can be improved: so that is why I hope together with your feedback, we can come the conclusion how and when UtA is worthy of 1.0. The main focus is to see if no existing content is broken and all is functioning as it should. Smaller bugs and issues will most likely be fixed on the fly, so please let me know of any bugs, glitches, annoyances or things that you would like to see improved. Same goes for the price. Originally the game is planned to go to around 15USD after leaving Early Access. This will also depend on your feedback and impressions. So, for example, if the majority of feedback would indicate 11 or 13USD to be a more fair price with content/quality ratio, then that will settle it. So do please, let me know your thoughts on this one.Other than that, hope you enjoy the homerun update. It's quite a big one. I'll be dropping the full update notes with 1.0. , but for now here is a brief summary:-New Levels, like the Grachtenstieg drop, rundown Milton Hotel, or Trenches war memory-Reworked fist graphics, materials and animations-New religions and faith systems with their own depe...Read full article on Community Announcements (MGP Studios)AnnouncementsOfficial
UtA 1.0. Open Beta coming 27th April
Greetings fellow Unbroken, I decided to push the 1.0. preview Open Beta by one week. So the final date for the Open Beta is Monday 27th April. Please excuse this delay. The build is pretty much good to go, but I still need to polish up a few final things/playtest and open beta build should be be good to go for the date. The full update notes will be dropping with 1.0. (Open Beta announcement will drop general/most important highlights) , but I can tease it is going to be a big one. New systems, new religions, new choices, new levels, new sounds(huge shout out here to Hell+), reworked graphics (ie player hands for majority of weapons) and a whole lot more... Adding some fresh screenshots from todays playtest Thanks for tuning in and see you on the 27th! Cheers, MikeRead full article on Community Announcements (MGP Studios)
