About this game

Conclave is a simple and intuitive way to take your TTRPG campaign to the next level, whether your group is playing in the same room or scattered across the realms.



Conclave is all about the experience, not the numbers. There's no managing stats or fiddling with complex mazes of menus; we'll assume you've already got the character sheets covered. Instead, we aim to provide a customizable space with easy and straightforward tools for you to build and play out your sessions.


Conclave includes an array of tools to help you on your journey, including dice, measuring tools, status effects, and a fog painting system. We've included some assets to get you started, but this is your game; your story. Who are we to decide what's in it? You can quickly and easily import everything you need for your session: maps, tokens, portraits, and even 3D minis!


Conclave supports the Hero Forge® Access Key, meaning you can connect your account to unlock your library of customized digital miniatures. You'll unlock 5 free minis when you connect your account!



Change time of day, lighting, and even weather and nature effects to get the vibe you want. Conclave's minimalist design means it gets out of the way when you need it to so players can focus on the story and experience you're building together.


Conclave aims to not only replicate the classic tabletop gaming experience, but also enhance it, and make it easier than ever to get your group together. Conclave is built with local multiplayer in mind, so players in the same room can simply pass a controller or two around. Online players needn't worry though, as Conclave fully supports Steam's Remote Play Together service. With just a single copy of Conclave, the whole party can play and create together.




Conclave is designed primarily to facilitate tabletop RPGs, but there's no rule that says you can't branch out. If it involves moving pieces on a board, there's probably a good chance you can play it with Conclave.

  Turn your TTRPG campaign up to 11 with custom music playlists!

  Hey everyone! We've been working hard these last few months adding a couple of highly requested features to Conclave. First up: custom playlists. You can import mp3 files into Conclave and create custom playlists within your scenes. You can even have multiple, in case you want both music and ambient sounds at the same time (or maybe you want the chaos of multiple songs playing all at once; that's cool too, we don't judge). {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44152247/914efb13c00e29f6bead50816bfab6759abd3a1e.gif Also in this update: STAMPS. GMs and players alike often need to mark important locations and key items on the map, and now you can (googly eyes not included).   What's New in Conclave Virtual Tabletop

  Hi everyone! It's now been 2 months since Conclave Virtual Tabletop released and we want to thank all of you for your support. We truly appreciate getting to be a part of your table :) I wanted to do a quick post to share some of the updates that have come to Conclave since launch. ...Starting with *TUTORIALS*. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44152247/1b14427d1fda32422e449a2b724249849a9178b4.png While we strive to make our UI and tools easy to understand and use, we realized we missed the mark early on by not including tutorials. You'll now find 12 tutorials (featuring text and video clips) that highlight everything from basic controls, to importing your Hero Forge library, to playing with others using Steam Remote Play Together. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44152247/a805741289342ed7a7772c6c404f84437ff8a491.png Just a quick note on these, though: they are currently only in English. We're aiming to include translations for other languages soon. Conclave Virtual Tabletop is designed for use with Steam Remote Play Together and other desktop streaming services, which allows your entire group to play using just one copy of Conclave. However, something we did not anticipate before launch was that if bad actors were connected to your game, they could potentially see your files by using Conclave's asset import tools. To combat this, Conclave now has a session password feature that you can set at startup, or at any time using the Preferences menu. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44152247/d7543128b73f775071acddb4269de3cc9c367533.png Enabling a session password will result in a password prompt appearing anytime you or another player attempts to import assets into Conclave. Be aware that the session password is reset when you close the game. While many desktop streaming services can work for Conclave Virtual Tabletop, we want to reiterate that we recommend using Steam Remote Play Together for this, as it will ensure that players are not able to see anything on the host's computer outside of the game itself. {STEA...
