About this game
The main game
The gameplay of Pongspin's primary game mode puts you in control of a paddle orbiting a central "core" that you must protect from the oncoming ball by deflecting it. As the ball moves faster with every stage, the background visuals become more psychedelic and strange, along with obstructions, strobe lights and decoy balls to throw you off. You are also able to pick up different power-ups to assist you.Spin Tennis
Spin Tennis places you and a CPU opponent in a fast-pased, radial tennis match! You must protect your core from the ball, while also trying to wound your opponent's.Lockball
Prediction-based fun! A more strategic game mode where the ball and paddle cannot move at the same time. While the ball is "locked," you have a limited amount of time to predict where the ball will collide with the core and to lock your paddle in that position accordingly. There are seven stages (or "light bulbs" as they're referred to here), and with each one the time limit decreases and the ball becomes more difficult to predict.HELL Mode
One life, no power-ups, longer lasting events and higher speeds make for Pongspin's ultimate challenge! Will you be able to make it through?System Requirements

Pongspin v3.0 announcement
Hi!So, it's been a while, nearly three years since Pongspin's Steam release to be exact! We apologize for our absence, but I'm happy to announce that we are back in action with a new major update coming next month!Initially, we revealed Pongspin v3.0 as "Labyrinth", a relaxed, point-and-click adventure mode of sorts that placed you in control of the ball itself, slowly moving through a maze of moveable paddles, interactable NPCs and simple puzzles. This form of the update has since been shelved. As development progressed, we felt that the scope of the Labyrinth game mode caused an imbalance with the rest, which were shorter and more arcade-focused, but most of all, it simply wasn't fun.We apologize to those who had been looking forward to Labyrinth, however, we hope that the new Pongspin v3.0 will be even more exciting! And after having shown off a playable demo of Pongspin v3.0 at Game Con Canada 2026, we feel it is the right time to share what we've been working on!Local + online multiplayer!?For starters, Pongspin v3.0 will introduce controller support along with local and online multiplayer. Yes, you read that right, you will soon be able to play against friends both near and far in Spin Tennis and a new 4-player game mode called Quadspin. Now, we will admit that while local multiplayer is close to complete, online multiplayer is still in it's early stages and is quite buggy, but it does currently work. There is a possibility that online multiplayer specifically may need to be delayed for a v3.1 update, but we will keep you posted should that scenario come to pass.New Spin Tennis courtsSpin Tennis (as it currently exists) is very limited, only offering a match against a computer opponent on a diagonal court, but we are excited to announce that Pongspin v3.0 will finally give it some new flavor! In addition to local multiplayer, we will be introducing two new Spin Tennis "courts", these are new game configurations that spice up a Spin Tennis match with unique mechani...Read full article on Community Announcements (Boundish)Patch NotesOfficial
