The Mine: Story Conclusion?
Hello Miners,It’s been about 1.5 years since my last update here. During this time I’ve been busy with other projects, but the story of the miner in The Mine has never really left my mind.Lately, I’ve been wondering: should the story continue? I’ve been considering the idea of a Part 2 that could bring the narrative to a proper conclusion. If it happens, my plan would be to release it as a free update for everyone who owns the game, adding about 2 - 3 hours of additional gameplay. But before making any decisions, I want to hear from you:Would you be interested in a continuation? What would you like to see in it? (storylines, mysteries, features, anything at all)Your thoughts will play a big part in whether I take this forward.Meanwhile, the game is now available at 80% off on Steam! 🍁Best, FredrikRead full article on Community Announcements (Bandcrasher)Patch NotesOfficial

The Mine: Steam Achievements Update Now Live!
Exciting news for all miners! I can now announce that my Steam achievements for 'The Mine' are completed and ready for you to experience. There are 26 achievements in total, and although their names might hint at their challenges, I believe discovering how to achieve them will be part of the adventure. I have made minor tweaks to the gameplay to make the achievement more fun and fitting. This update also includes more bug fixes, aiming to make your gameplay experience even smoother. As for the future of the game, including the story's conclusion and the possibility of adding new content or a Part 2. My decision will be based on players interests to make it happen, my current commitments and other factors outside my control, such as work obligations and managing all other responsibilities. While I'm considering the possibility of making this new content available for free for everyone who has already bought the game or considering to do so in the future, I want to keep expectations realistic and avoid making any promises at this stage. I hope you enjoy this update and encourage you to take it easy down in the mine! Best // FredrikRead full article on Community Announcements (Bandcrasher)AnnouncementsOfficial

The Mine – Patch Update 1.1
Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great time in Elsborg and enjoying your adventures down in The Mine! I'm excited to present my first update, which includes a mix of major and minor fixes, as well as some handy new features. Notably, you can now increase the font size in the dialogue box via the display options in the main menu. Bug Fixes and Improvements: -Fixed a bug in the pub scene that caused the dialogue to freeze when interacting with Carl and Egold. -Resolved a dialogue issue with Sven on the platform, where some lines would appear at incorrect times. -Fixed an issue where certain unintended interface elements were occasionally appearing during gameplay. -Addressed a bug that prevented Anders' portrait from displaying correctly in the dialogue box. -Resolved a bug that caused two dialogues to play simultaneously when inspecting the moving horse cart. -It's now possible to open Mother's journal by dragging it from the inventory to the player character. Note: This does not work in the underground mining level due to technical reasons (right-clicking to open the journal remains functional on all levels). -Fixed an issue where copper coins could not be picked up. -Improvements have been made to the player character's mobility when crossing paths with the Bartender in the pub scene. -Overall improvements to the hint system New Features: -Added support for three different font sizes in the dialogue box, which can be changed under Main Menu > Options > Display.Read full article on Community Announcements (Bandcrasher)
