Dev Account Updates
Pseudoregalia is, and always was safe to play in practice! There was uncertainty for a bit about the severity of the hack, but it's mostly been resolved. "Mostly" meaning, unfortunately, the previous discord, twitter, and email have not been reclaimed, and it's unclear if they ever will. Everything else is alright though, my machine is clean, no work was lost. A new discord server is available for those that wish to rejoin: https://discord.gg/9P9TvPykj5If you wish to keep up with me otherwise, my bluesky is also fine: https://bsky.app/profile/rittzler.bsky.socialAdditional security measures are in place on my end, and i'll be much more cautious in general.Stay safe everyone!-rittzRead full article on Community Announcements (rittzler)AnnouncementsOfficial
Caution! Pseudoregalia developer's accounts have been compromised!
The account "rittzler" on discord and previous server for pseudo and related things, "Goodnight Sunlight" have been taken over by a hacker, as well as the twitter and possibly other things. Please be careful, do not download or click on any suspicious links from them, , and please report the account if you see it. Verify your friends identities if something seems even slightly off, as they could be compromised as well.It seems they have also been attempting to post to twitter, however the attempts seem to be getting quickly auto-removed.The developer account here on steam was also compromised, but should be secured now and valve has been alerted. While it is unlikely to happen, if you see any updates to pseudo for the time being, do not download them and do not play them. But as it stands, the game is safe to play still. This shit has been a highly frustrating and anxiety inducing time for me, and i'm trying to do my best to get things under control. Please be safe, and i'm terribly sorry for anyone else who was been affected.Read full article on Community Announcements (rittzler)AnnouncementsOfficial

Goatling Butler Plush Available now!
Hello Pseudoregalia enjoyers! It's been a whole year since the game came out! I wish i had something more substantial for ya'll...but alas, this is it(and honestly it just kinda worked out that it would be ready around the anniversary) I will say at least I am working on a new adventure. It is still fairly early i admit, it's probably quite a ways off, but hopefully it will be something worth waiting for. I'm not even sure if I'm I'll be showing it off this year, there's a part of me that gets more reluctant to share early looks the more eyes it feels like i have on me... Anyway, if you're interested in havin a little goat freak of your own, you can pick him up here for a limited time! If you are very specifically only interested in Sybil merch, something else will be coming down the line! We may also do an alternate run of the plushie or something, although it is not guaranteed right now! I wrote a big thing about it last time, but I still cannot thank you all enough for making the Pseudoregalia the success that it is. We've nearly hit 10,000 steam reviews! What the heck!!!!!!! Hope you're all having a good summer! -rittzRead full article on Community Announcements (rittzler)Patch NotesOfficial
Map Update!
Hey everyone! The Map Update is finally here, plus a little extra. Let's go into the full patch notes: Added Credits!!! Please check out and support the other wonderful people who helped make this game real Added the "Memento" power up, letting the player access a minimap. It can be found in the beginning of Castle Sansa, near the entrance from the Dungeon. Added Time Trials to each major area. Each one has an outfit reward for completing the bronze time. The Professional outfit has also been retrofitted into a small time trial in the same place- if you complete the time trial in the Castle Sansa area and don't get anything, thats why The Lock-On camera has been reworked and is much more effective at keeping enemies on screen. The camera will try to more aggressively follow the character when Wall Riding and not controlling it. The timing is the same as the "follow activate delay" setting. Added an option to have the lock on button recenter the camera when no valid targets are nearby. Added Keybindings Sybil has a new animation for bunny hopping You can now Air Kick again after kicking the breaker The game should be a bit more performant now, as some internal settings that didnt have an effect on visuals were still affecting performance have been reduced/disabled. Should also increase battery life on Steamdeck and similar devices. The song for Castle Sansa has been extended There is now a sound when parrying projectiles The dungeon has an added switch gate near the exit to ensure players find the path forward more easily. A guidestone has been placed near the main dungeon exit that states the text that used to only be outside the Tower. Strong Eyes will now briefly stagger to signify the second half of his health. The Princess's Big Dark Orb Bomb Thing will properly explode Modified and moved the entrance to the Underbelly key slightly to be more visible Modified geometry on the broken pillar in front of the tower Skid jumps now have a lower cap when you don't have ...Read full article on Community Announcements (rittzler)
