About this game

Welcome to Grapple League.

You'll soon embark upon a high-flying swinging adventure through several different worlds and levels to prove your skill against others in the League. Will you be able to conquer the various levels, reach the mountaintop and go beyond? Prove yourself as a master grappler!

Features
Five different worlds!

  • Ocean World! Every grappler's first world. Colorful tarp covered objects create intense obstacle courses!
  • The Canyon! The windy canyon makes for winding tight passageways and wide areas for free swinging!
  • The Mountain! Exceptional difficulty renders most grapplers unable to complete the daunting task of traveling vast distances and ascending to the peak. Prove yourself!
  • Space! Gravity is no longer down! This may get tricky quick!
  • The City! A foggy grey cyberpunk city where the fastest and only way through is by swinging across flying cars!

Swing in Style Gain Style by swinging and grappling quickly! Manage to get up to S-Style and you'll find boost plentiful!

Build Boost by building Style! Boost charges dynamically based on your speed and style while you swing!

Unlockable Boost Types!
The initial boost is incredibly handy, but some say they have found other boost types with significant advantages!

  • Base Boost. Jet yourself in the direction your facing! A grappler's staple.
  • Jump. A direct leap upwards. Exceptionally useful in some situations!
  • Glide. More useful than it seems. Dampen momentum in all directions except the one you're facing!
  • Bounce. Difficult to master, but improbably handy. An isosphere that reflects anyone who impacts it perfectly. Also grappleable. Nice.
  • More? Rumor has it there was another, hidden and lost to space!

Endless Mode
Master all the courses available? Get some distance in this endless run where instead of time, distance is your foe.

The Ultimate Test
With Steam Leaderboards enabled test yourself against your friends and the best of the best. Think you're the greatest? Prove it!

Swing and fling yourself into the finish!

    Patch 1.29k

Changes: -World 3 Optimization Pass! World 3 looks a little different, as do portals, but their impact on performance should be significantly less. Please let me know if performance is still iffy there! Though it should be significantly better. -Fixed some World 2 missing geometry. When optimizing the shaders I noticed some unwanted invisible geometry. Went ahead and took them out. -Reset leaderboards for World 1 Levels 1 through 5. When redoing the tutorial levels I neglected to reset the leaderboards for said levels. After seeing it requested I went ahead and did so. Enjoy a balanced playing field to attempt #1 on all levels! (And sorry about this, I really should have reset them when I first changed the levels.) Please note, that until you set a new best time on these levels you may notice some weirdness in the leaderboard display if you are past them already. Known Issues: Some AMD cards experience shader/shadow issues on World 2. Lowering shadows to low or running the game in Vulkan appear to solve the worst of it.
