Embark on a solo mission to save humanity in LEGION:DEAD METAL, an action-adventure game from GRID IRON STUDIOS. Play as Elijah Stone, trained for the clandestine war between the Legion and the fallen forces.
About this game
In a world where history has been quietly shaped from the shadows, two factions have waged a hidden war for centuries.
The Legion operates in silence—an elite, deniable force tasked with containing threats the world was never meant to see. Their mission is simple: identify the danger, isolate it, and erase it before it spreads.
Opposing them are the Fallen.
Not a nation. Not an army. Something far more dangerous.
Their influence can be traced through humanity’s darkest moments—most notably during World War II, where they embedded themselves within global power structures, manipulating events to accelerate destruction and instability. They do not seek recognition. Only control.
Now, a covert military research facility located in international waters has gone silent.
Forty-eight hours ago, all communication ceased.
Official reports cite a systems failure—but long-range scans tell a different story. The facility is still drawing power. Controlled. Intentional.
Someone is still there.
Intelligence suggests the Fallen have taken control.
The facility itself is highly classified, housing advanced robotics programs, experimental bio-research, and next-generation mechanized combat platforms—technology capable of shifting the balance of power if it falls into the wrong hands.
If the Fallen secure it, they won’t just disappear into the shadows.
They’ll escalate.
Elijah Stone is deployed alone.
A Legion operative trained for high-risk infiltration and containment, Stone is inserted with a single objective: assess the situation, locate the source of the takeover, and neutralize any threat before it can leave the island.
No backup. No extraction guarantee.
What begins as a standard recon mission quickly deteriorates into a full-scale incursion. The facility is no longer under military control. Patrols have changed. Systems have been repurposed. And whatever the Fallen are building… it’s already in motion.
Cut off from support and deep behind enemy lines, Stone must fight through a compound that is rapidly transforming into something else—something weaponized.
Because this was never just about taking the facility.
It was about what the Fallen could turn it into.

Legion: Dead Metal — Reforged
Over the past weeks I’ve spent a lot of time reading feedback, watching gameplay, and taking an honest look at the current state of Legion: Dead Metal. The feedback made one thing clear: the game needs more than small fixes or quick patches. Many of the core systems and areas of the game require major reworking and, in some cases, complete redesigns.Because of this, Legion: Dead Metal is now entering a full redevelopment phase. This rebuild will affect nearly every part of the game, including:Story and narrative structureCombat and enemy encountersGraphics, lighting, and atmosphereLevel design and pacingAudio and immersionOverall game length and content varietyThe goal is not to simply “improve” the current version, but to rebuild Legion: Dead Metal into the experience it was originally meant to be.I also want to be transparent: this process will take time. The scale of the feedback received cannot realistically be addressed with a few tweaks or updates over a couple of weeks. Many systems need to be rebuilt properly from the ground up, and that means development will continue over the coming months. To everyone who already purchased the game: thank you for taking a chance on the project and for providing honest feedback. All current owners of Legion: Dead Metal will receive the remastered version as a free update when it releases. As the game grows in quality, scope, and content, the price will also increase to reflect the expanded experience and redevelopment effort.I know rebuilding trust takes more than words. From this point forward, the focus is on showing real progress and delivering a much stronger version of Legion: Dead Metal.Thank you to everyone who supported the project, criticized it honestly, and helped point out where it needs to improve.Read full article on Community Announcements (REAPER)Patch NotesOfficial
