Random generation & Roguelike elements
Every card in Card Artisan past your starter deck as well as every card in your enemies' decks is randomly generated. This in addition to a randomly generated map results in no two runs being the same!

The game features more than 80 unique pieces of equipment that will shake up your runs with all sorts of abilities that will test your creativity and challenge your ability to find new kinds of decks and strategies!

Card Artisan also features easy-to-use integrated tools to create your own mods or download and use community-made mods. You can easily modify a variety of visuals from the art cards will have, to the cutscene images and text, to details such as words that will be utilized when randomizing a card with that art to have the randomly generated card name match the visual details or lore of the card!
Difficulty progression
Every run you complete unlocks a new difficulty level that will add new challenges and increase the power of your enemies' decks, and how well they play their cards!
Card Artisan features 4 main classes with their own unique class abilities and strategies, and a additional 10 class variants you can unlock that have their own starting decks, starting equipment, and refined strategies
High power level
You will be able to pull-off all sorts of powerful card combos and ridiculous strategies, but beware, your enemies will match your might in the higher difficulty levels!

Card Artisan 2.1 - Multiplayer
Hello everyone! Card Artisan now has a Multiplayer mode! You can play free 1v1 matches against other players. Create a room, set the rules you want and duke it out! One thing to keep in mind is, multiplayer is releasing in an experimental state. Testing a mode like this alone is very hard, so issues I never saw during development will surely show up once real players get their hands on it. If you run into anything strange, like stuck games or disconnections, please report it and I'll do my darnest to get it fixed as soon as I can! This update also fixes a nasty long-standing bug that prevented many of you from uploading your mods to the Steam Workshop (Which means everyone should be able to upload mods now!). Sync issues when fetching downloaded Workshop mods and Steam Cloud saves should also be resolved now, along with a fix for save files getting lost when multiple Steam accounts played on the same computer. The game was also updated to Unity 6.4, which should keep things running smoothly going forward. We skipped an announcement for Card Artisan 2.0 which brought huge improvements to the CPU opponent behavior fixing a mountain worth of bugs that would make the CPU less competent alongside new long requested features such as custom playmats and backgrounds, and new content with the Scientist class, performance improvements, and much more! So if you haven't played the game in a while, this might be a great opportunity to pick it up again! I hope everyone enjoys the new mode, and thanks as always for your continued support! Cheers! Fullen- Full patch notes: Card Artisan 2.1 -Added new Multiplayer mode! Card Artisan 1.7.3.3 & Deckbuilders Fest (May. 9, 2026)
Hello everyone! The Steam Deckbuilders Fest is almost over, and this is just a small update, but I noticed a nasty bug that messed with the music when moving around the map, so I wanted to get it fixed so the new players trying out the game don’t run into it and get a bad impression! On top of that, I noticed some small grammar fixes while working on the mobile port, so I fixed those here as well. I really hope more people get to try and enjoy the game in what little remains of the Deckbuilders Fest, and to anyone new, always feel free to report any issue you have with the game, and I’ll do my darnest to get it fixed as soon as I can!Read full article on Community Announcements (Fullen Games)Patch NotesOfficial
Card Artisan 1.7.3 + Mobile version in the works! (Apr. 25, 2026)
Hello everyone! Today's update includes a long overdue fix to the erratic movement cards in hand used to have in certain situations alongside the addition of custom music to make up for the lack of variety in the base game. The first change came about thanks to the progress being made in the mobile port of the game which will hopefully be coming in a couple months, so yeah, please look forwards to that! I hope everyone enjoys the new changes! Cheers! Full patch notes: Card Artisan 1.7.3 -Added support for custom music. -Fixed multiple issues when interacting with cards in hand that made the cards jumpy and behave erratically in many situations. -Improved Merchant card UI behavior. -Reworked some shaders to improve compatibility with lower-end devices that didn't load them in correctly in certain situations.Read full article on Community Announcements (Fullen Games)Patch NotesOfficial
Two small updates
After Patch 1.7.0 I've uploaded two very small updates mostly just to fix issues introduced with the new addition of the Spanish language in version 1.7.0. Most egregiously, a string of Spanish text prominently being display in battle where "Skip Type" should've been present. Sorry about that. On top of that, some small fixes were included among them a bug that would cause the "Shuffle your graveyard" effect to break under specific circumstances. I hope everyone is enjoying the game and remember to always feel free to report any issue you have with the game, I'll try to address them as soon as possible! Cheers! Card Artisan 1.7 (Mar. 31, 2026)
Card Artisan 1.7 ¡Buenos días! The Spanish language support patch is finally here! As promised months ago, it took longer than expected and unfortunately it's far from perfect, but it's here! Did you know almost every Spanish word has a masculine and feminine variant? Well, when randomly generating card names for random images it's very hard to determine if the person depicted in the image is a Guerrero or a Guerrera you know. Long story short, I couldn't cope with this challenge, it was impossible with the current system to determine this and tackling this would require each image in the base game and each image you mod in to be tagged as male or female, and I really don't think it's worth the effort, at least not for now, especially considering the card names in Card Artisan are absolutely superfluous! I hope my Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters understand the situation and still enjoy the game nontheless! Speaking of mods, now you can mod the names for the starting cards you obtain through upgrades on each mod, so your decaying zombie will no longer be called "Fiery Trooper" (If you so desire). Lastly, a lot of UI issues and some straight-up bugs were fixed, so that's something everyone can enjoy! Before next update, I will work on a mobile port for the game, so as long as you have waited for more content, I'm sorry to say that will take a bit longer still. (Of course, another small update might surface if I need to fix anything with the translations or if any game-breaking bug is reported.) Cheers everybody, and thanks for your continued support! Full patch notes below: -Added Spanish language support! -Fixed multiple UI issues. -Fixed issue that would cause tooltips not to shop up when hovering certain objects. -Adjusted UI elements to better fit their text in all languages. -Added new mod option to modify the names of Upgrade Cards to better fit the mods.Read full article on Community Announcements (Fullen Games)
