About this game

Welcome to Untitled Ghost Game, a spine-tingling 2D ghost hunting adventure brought to you by a small but dedicated team of developers.

Interactive items and several unique maps
Step into the shoes of a paranormal investigator armed with an arsenal of ghost hunting equipment, including an EMF reader, a Luigi board, a thermometer, a clock, a spirit box, a sketchbook, and a geiger counter. Explore a variety of creepy locations, including Mario's Cottage, Leonardo's Villa, Haunted Boardwalk, and the Spooky Mall.


Gameplay mechanics and loop
Your objective is to use your equipment to locate the ghost and ghost room to see how it interacts with the environment, items, and hiding places. Once you have gathered enough information, it's up to you to make an educated guess about the type of ghost you're dealing with. Once you've made your guess, the exorcist can come in and take care of the ghost.

But beware - ghosts can be unpredictable and dangerous, so be sure to keep your wits about you. With atmospheric visuals, spooky sound effects, and a haunting (badass) soundtrack from the musical artist Sodaguyz, Untitled Ghost Game will keep you on the edge of your seat.

  What's next?

  What Hi there ghost hunters!! I am sorry that I have to say this, but I value transparency with you dudes. I want to let you guys know that I will not be working on Untitled Ghost Game ever again. Definitely. Why? The networking framework limits the amount of players on multiplayer to 20. To support the current amount of player, it kind of works well enough, although it goes offline when there are too many people. Since it goes offline sometimes with just a average of like 10 players (it peaks above 20), if the game were to grow in players, the servers would constantly be shut down. This means that updating and supporting the game is going to make multiplayer unplayable. The server costs about 8$ a month to support 100 players, which get's expensive (I am a college student) and I am not making any money back to pay for the servers. On another note... Some of my developer friends recommended adding a DLC to unlock all of the skins and maps, although I prefer to keep this game completely free. I never intended to make money off of this game, it was practice and a passion project. I also feel as if it would be pretty scummy to update the game just so you have a way to give me money. What now? If you loved Untitled Ghost Game and want to support me, I would greatly appreciate if you could check out my newest project "Dubscr's Murder Mystery." I have learned a lot from Untitled Ghost Game about what not to do, so I will not run into the same problems. I am using a networking framework that supports nearly infinite players, so I will most likely support the game for much longer. This game will cost money, although it won't be very expensive at all.   Untitled

  All work on Untitled Ghost Game is stopping. I am going to college so I don’t have time to work on the game anymore, especially since it is so stressful and draining for me. Maybe one day in the future I will try to fix some things but as of right now it’s over. Thank you guys for all of your support.
