About the Game
Under the religion of Unio, the people of Era live their lives bound to one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Those who resist their urges are promised eternity in the sacred land of Hellden. But for those who succumb, a fate worse than death awaits.
Lost Hellden is a classically inspired action JRPG set in a gorgeous hand-painted 3D world, featuring illustrations by Takeshi Oga (Gravity Rush) and a soundtrack by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Valkyria Chronicles). Follow eight highly customisable characters on a journey through Era and beyond, and master a phased battle system that balances real-time and turn-based combat.
A Story of Sin and Self-Discovery
The birth of twins is a terrible omen. The binding ritual fails, leaving Cyphel born without sin and Leht bound to all seven. The babies are hidden away in the Unio Temple to be raised as Arkhons, defenders of the faith.
Years later, Leht escapes, driven to overcome his unique burden. Cyphel must leave the safety of the temple to find him, and is thrust into a world of monsters, rebels, and celestial conspiracy. Lost Hellden tells a rich story of self-discovery, family, and fate, fully voiced in Japanese and English.
A New Form of Combat
A unique phased battle system combines the thrill of real-time action with the tactical possibilities of turn-based combat. Leverage timing, positioning, elemental attributes and whole-team commands as you attack and defend against enemies monstrous and divine. Utilise powerful Transcendence abilities to turn the tide of battle. Fine-tune your party with a multi-layered job system, ability tree, and a wide range of equipment options to secure victory.
A Hand-Painted World to Explore
Step into the box art of a classic JRPG thanks to a unique ‘Deep 2D’ art style, with contributions from Takeshi Oga (Gravity Rush). Lost Hellden’s aesthetics are underpinned by a gorgeous soundtrack by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Valkyria Chronicles).
Secrets lurk behind every corner: explore the world for hidden items, collectables, and enemies. Take advantage of changes in weather and special abilities to meet NPCs and new areas. Help those you meet on your journey, or while away the day mastering Era’s most popular board game, Hexaken.

Lost Hellden – 2025 Recap and What’s Coming Next
Hello again everyone, Mario from Artisan Studios here. Following up on my post from late 2024, I wanted to share a brief recap of a few key moments from 2025 and give the community a clear picture of where things stand as we head into 2026. Development on Lost Hellden continued throughout the year across our teams in Canada, France, and the UAE, and is the sole focus of our studio. Here are the main highlights from 2025: We signed a worldwide publishing deal with Kwalee for the PC and console versions of Lost Hellden. You can read all about it in this article by the RPG Site. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44869842/297df7446843ef7231985bf8250c1a30b4544582.gif We partnered with Crunchyroll's Game Vault, making Lost Hellden one of the first pre-release titles selected for their premium mobile service! You can find out more about it in this article by Pocket Gamer. We showed Lost Hellden live to the press for the first time ever at Gamescom 2025. The game was selected as “UAE Game of the Show" and promoted on Steam. Our announcement trailer was even featured by Nintendo during Gamescom: We met with media from Japan, South Korea, China, and Southeast Asia during Tokyo Game Show. Here is one example of the coverage, via 4Gamer.net in Japan. Lost Hellden passed 50,000 Steam wishlists in 2025 and continues to climb!
