Explore a neon-drenched world where you unleash lightning-fast combos against cyborg foes. Dive into Counterclocking, an early access action game that blends Bayonetta’s grace with Devil May Cry’s intensity.

About this game

Developed by Brain Hack Magic, Counterclocking is a hack-and-slash game inspired by many beloved action games such as Devil may cry, Bayonetta, and Metal gear rising.

The Actions:

Counterclocking is a third-person action game. You control your character in real time to fight the enemies. The control is similar to Devil may cry, in which stylish combo and fast pace maneuvering are satisfying to do. You have multiple weapons to switch to all the time and learn new action moves by defeating each boss similar to the Megaman series.

The World:

Counterclocking takes place in a near-future sci-fi world. A time that everyone can improve their body or cognitive performance with modification. Genetic mutation, bionic implants, or even pure robots are everywhere in the game. The main character is armed with heavy robotic armor and a glowing katana and can switch to multiple weapons during the fight.

    Unity Security Vulnerability Update

A security vulnerability was identified that affects games and applications built on Unity versions 2017.1 and later for Android, Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems. There is no evidence of any exploitation of the vulnerability, nor has there been any impact on users or customers. This patch follows the official guide line to fix the vulnerability. I act as fast as possible due to the nature of the vulnerability, let me know if I break something, -BHM

    Update: v.EA.0.3.1 Lock and load!

Hey everyone, We’re thrilled to roll out some major updates this time! From overhauled controls to fresh visuals, here’s what’s new: Controls Target Locking: You can now lock onto enemies by pressing R3. Switch between targets by flicking the R button. While locked on, most attacks—including firearms—will automatically aim at the locked target. Some moves, like the forward slash, still rely on your L3 directional input for precision. Double Jumping: After defeating the Succubus Boss, you’ll unlock Double Jump, allowing you to leap mid-air. Healing during Overclock mode is now available by default. Stage Rework The Jungle Stages have been completely replaced with the newly designed Island, including an updated boss stage! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43902949/dc5351a4e63d8f5244d0580a7086d482087c93a7.png Minor Tweaks Gameplay Adjustments: Running speed: slightly reduced. Katana dash: slightly shorter range. Pistol: lower fire rate, but it now packs a bigger punch. Boss: Savager has received some balance adjustments. UI & Camera: Minor tutorial UI refinements. Camera angles have been fine-tuned for smoother gameplay. Thank you so much for your patience and support! Development might be moving a bit slow, but I promise the project is very much alive and kicking. More updates are coming soon—stay tuned! Let’s keep building this together. 😊 {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43902949/15f669fc5faa227b09944975f4a9e117545cd86b.png

    Update EA v.0.3.0

Hi all, I know it has been a while since the last update; I have some fascinating news! I spent most of my time during this period finding talents to join me and, wow, I am no longer working on this alone! We now have world-class artists, animationists, and musicians! The team is now 7 people. We all work on this part-time. And things are going smoothly. Unfortunately, good things take time, not much of the work will be shown in this update. But I am sure it is coming! Update log: Major: - Improved parry timing, now it is more similar to other games having parry mechanism - Increased enemy knocked-up air time for better air combo - Enemies not holding block stance if they have shielding on during an attack - Less stun lock from minions - Now you can dash during wall run - Boss move-set update D#02 and D#04 (This is just the beginning of the new teamwork, more is coming) Quality of life - Conversation mode now has a slightly smaller avatar size - Camera angle is tuned for a better experience - Camera-blocking objects now turn back visibility faster Cheers!!!
