About this game

Welcome to Elysium!

Wake up on a paradise-like abandoned island with your friends. Explore the ruins of an ancient civilization, uncover the secrets behind its collapse, and survive in a world filled with corrupted machines. Build your base, craft new gear, tame powerful robots, and discover what happened to Elysium.

Explore Elysium alone or team up with up to three friends. Share resources, build your base together, revive each other during fights, and take on dangerous areas as a team. Work together to survive, explore deeper, and uncover the secrets of the island.

The machines of Elysium may be dangerous, but they can also become your greatest allies. Defeat corrupted robots, tame them, and use their unique abilities to your advantage. Fight alongside them, gather resources, carry supplies, and explore the island with your new companions.

Ancient machines powered by Elythian technology now roam the island. Learn their weaknesses, dodge their abilities, and fight back with crafted weapons and equipment. Face different types of machines, from fast Tripixes to powerful Mechas, and survive the dangers of Elysium.

Find the perfect place to build your base, whether it is by the coast, deep in the forest, or on top of a mountain. Gather resources, craft tools and weapons, and upgrade your equipment as you prepare for new adventures across Elysium.

Travel beyond your base and explore new areas of Elysium. Restore abandoned technology, unlock new paths, and discover resources hidden across the islands. Every expedition brings you closer to understanding the civilization that once called Elysium home.

WISHLIST ELYSIUM TO FOLLOW THE JOURNEY

The island is waking up. Be there when it does.

    Elysium Weekly Devlog #4

Hello, folks! How’s your summer going? Been on vacation yet? We took a little break ourselves, but now we’re back and ready to continue developing Elysium. Here’s what we’ve been working on recently:Internal ToolsWe have been building several internal editor tools that allow us to create, balance, and test new content much faster.Weapons, items, recipes, creatures, combat matchups, many things that previously required digging through different files can now be viewed and adjusted from one place. This means less time fighting spreadsheets and more time creating things that fight you.Modding Support?!These internal tools are currently intended for development, but we are designing them with the possibility of making some of them available to players for modding and custom content in the future. No promises yet, but we would love to see what kinds of questionable recipes and terrifying creatures you would create.Respawn AnchorsWe have added Respawn Anchors to certain regions of the world. After activating one, you will be able to respawn nearby instead of suddenly finding yourself several minutes away from everything you were doing. Dying should have consequences, but those consequences should not always include an unexpected walking simulator.A New Island? We have also started working on the next island: Tenvil. It features new biomes, gameplay elements, and, of course, more dangers.Small ImprovementsImproved the visuals of Burstbloom and Kamikazix, making them easier to distinguish during fusion. What’s NextNow that we’re back from our vacation, stay tuned for more updates!P.S. Don’t forget to drink water! That’s all for now. See you soon!- The Elysium Dev Team

    Elysium Weekly Devlog #3

Hello everyone,Enes here from the Elysium Dev Team, your favorite developer.Over the last two weeks, we took a step back and rethought some parts of Elysium. We gave ourselves a simple challenge: spend two weeks experimenting with fun, weird, and unexpected mechanics to see what would make the game more exciting. While doing these, we also continued stabilizing the game. Here is what we tried:Flying BehemothWe added a massive Behemoth flying high above the islands. It does not attack directly, but it drops enemy-spawning pods onto the world below. These pods crash down near players and release new threats into the area, turning exploration into something much less predictable. So even when you think you are safe, you might want to look up.Tripix Launcher MortarYes, exactly what it sounds like. We added a mortar that launches Tripixes into the battlefield, turning them into tiny flying problems for the player to deal with. You can shoot flying Tripixes in air if you don't want any trouble.Kamikaze Robots (Kamikazix)We also added kamikaze Tripixes. They chase you down and explode if you are not careful. Tripix launcher mortar throws them on your face.TurretsWe started prototyping turret enemies as another way to make combat more dynamic. They create pressure from a distance and force players to move, take cover, or find ways to disable them. Also we continued to improve the game:Input Rebinding & New Setting ControlsWe finally added input rebinding, as requested. You can now easily rebind any button or control directly from the settings menu, without leaving the game.New VisualsAdded Elysiorite and Lithanite resources to corrupted fores.Added stun animations to creatures.Added new LIT Tower model and statues.Added new ancient ruin models.Bugfixes & Quality of LifeFixed AI error where enemies does not switch targets in multiplayer mode, causing them to chase you forever.Improved flee logic of passive creatures. Now deers and rabbobos run smarter by being aware of surroundi...

Now, you’ll jump from launching the game straight into the action much faster. Gameplay & VisualsThe Nimtak has a fresh new color, and we updated the inventory icons for the Sunshroom, Redcap, Burstshroom, and Sporebane.Added animations for fell and dead players.Bug Fixes & Quality of LifeFixed client health bars not being reduced on the first hit.Fixed a bug where co-op players could see AI health bars while other players were fighting far away.Fixed Archnimblix’s health bar not being displayed in multiplayer.Added new inventory hotkeys: players can now hover over an item and press E to quickly use or instantly equip it.Entities will no longer spawn trapped inside solid rocks or structures. We also fixed collision bugs on hypertubes and signs to prevent clipping, and grounded the floating stone reserves in Adenia. Elysium Weekly Devlog #1

Hi everyone,Enes here from the Elysium dev team. Starting this week, we’ll be sharing a new devlog every Monday. Welcome! These devlogs will cover our weekly progress, what we’ve been working on as a team, and some behind-the-scenes notes from development.MultiplayerCo-op gameplay is coming together! We’ve integrated core game mechanics into multiplayer.Co-op is now in closed playtesting, where we’re stress-testing everything to make sure the experience feels smooth, stable, and fun.Testing has already helped us uncover a lot of bugs, and we’re crushing them one by one. Well… most of them. LocalizationThe game is becoming more accessible around the world! We’ve added localization support for English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, Simplified Chinese, Swedish, and Turkish.New Stun & Taming MechanicThis week, we worked on connecting combat and taming. We added a new stun mechanic for robotic enemies. When players deal Elysiorite damage, especially to weak points, a stun bar now builds up under the enemy’s health bar. Once it fills up, stun-enabled robots become temporarily disabled and can’t take actions. Some non-boss enemies can also become interactable while stunned, which enables player to tame them. It’s still an early version.Combat & AI ImprovementsWe also worked on cleaning up combat and enemy behavior.Refactored parts of the armor and weak point systemsImproved the structure of these systems so they are easier to expand in the futureFixed attack angle issues in some AI attacksFixed aggression and jittering problems on the MechaCleaned up several small AI behavior bugsThese changes are not the most flashy ones, but they should make fights feel more stable and consistent.Elysiorite CorruptionOn the visual side, we started working on the corruption concept and created a new corruption shader. Take a look: Environmental ChangesCreated new boss fight area in Virelia Island, for MechaAdded new mushrooms!Bug FixesFixed the crouch issue that caused players to snap b...
