  ToLLA Holiday Sale & Expansion Devlog Update

  ⚔️ Hail, adventurers! ⚔️Today we're back with another devlog, and holiday sale!😎👇With the holiday season in full swing, we've put the game on sale, including all its DLCs! So if you've not gotten it already, consider grabbing your copy of ToLLA from the link below while it's discounted:We've been busy working on the major free expansion for the game that will double the size of the available content! Think of it as the "Act II" of the ToLLA story. But instead of making a new Steam page with a followup chapter (as is the norm with seasonal adult games), we decided it'd be better to roll all the new content into this current project so players can seamlessly continue their adventure...Just a quick note about pricing:The expansion will release as a free DLC once finished, for all owners of the game. To monetize our work however, we'll be raising the game's base price to $19.99 once the expansion comes out! If you already own ToLLA you won't have to pay anything, you'll get the expansion for free... and players who purchase the game after that will be able to pick it up alongside the new content for $19.99. We feel this is a fair setup that allows us to earn some money for the months of work spent on the DLC, while at the same time rewarding our early and current supporters who purchase ToLLA prior to the expansion's release.Alright, now on to the devlog!👇👇👇Among other features, the expansion will bring new lewd encounters, as well as those we've had to cut for the Steam release. One such sex scene features Trixie, a goblina diplomat your party runs into while exploring the Southern Wildlands.   ToLLA Sale End & Combat Devlog Update

  ⚔️ Hail, adventurers! ⚔️Today we're back with a combat devlog and design deep dive!😎👇But before we get to that, just a reminder that the current game sale ends in ~3 days, so if you've been waiting to grab your copy of ToLLA now's a good time. 👇👇👇Now on to the devlog...~ TOLLA'S COMBAT & FORMATIONS OUTLINE ~We're planning to roll out combat as part of the first major expansion for the game once it's done...As mentioned in earlier devlogs, combat in ToLLA will take place as party-vs-party battles in turn-based exchanges on a fixed battleground, where your crew faces off against waves of enemies. Down below is a mockup showcasing what combat is planned to look like. Note that we're still in the prototyping phase, so everything written below is subject to change as we implement and test the systems and assets in the coming months:To add some variety and tactical fun, we're planning to split both the Player's and enemies' parties into foreground & background formations, with spells & abilities targeting being restricted to one, the other, or both in special cases. So for example, your frontline melee fighter can target and attack the enemy's frontline melee fighter, but neither can reach the other side's backline until the front row has been slain. Archers, due to having ranged weaponry, can... but they can also miss, and their attacks are mitigated by armor (unless they're magical or elemental, like in rare case). And spellcasters can hit anyone, anywhere, any time, but this is balanced by spell cooldowns.Generally speaking, martial classes and their thematic derivatives (Fighter, Rogue, Archer, Knight, Ranger, etc.) get multiple fast-acting and fast-cooling abilities they can rotate. Spellcasters, due to having greater range, the ability to bypass armor, and AoE damage, get more expensive and slower ones, but they hit hard and their spells carry debilitating debuffs that persist for 2-5 rounds and in some cases stack (ex: Burn).Spellcasters also get plenty of defensiv...

This means the Collector's Edition is likewise discounted on top of the individual bundled items, so consider grabbing it if you'd like to complete the set!🎃In other news, our friend KamtiGames has released The Book of Outcasts! If you enjoy beautiful 2d painted art and dark-fantasy adult writing then be sure to check it out!   News Update & Lewd Dungeon Runs

  ⚔️ Hail, adventurers! ⚔️Super quick announcement today...👇We've been working on the next patch for ToLLA, and should have that out soon... Shuky (our freelance artist) has also been pushing ahead on Lewd Dungeon Runs, so consider wishlisting that if you haven't already - it takes place within the Legendary Lust setting and features Captain Hale & Meredith:Lewd Dungeon Runs is a stand-alone story adventure that'll take your party deep below the surface, where you'll encounter exotic races as you quest to uncover an ancient mystery from the past... It features an all-female party who'll follow your male protagonist, and plays like a harem game.Shuky's working on the art mostly by herself, with the rest of us on the team pitching in the writing & coding. LDR is her project, and she's the art lead as well as creative director on it. If you enjoyed ToLLA's setting and characters then be sure to wishlist LDR! We'll have more updates about the project as it nears completion and its release date.In other news, we recently got confirmation that ToLLA was reviewed for the Steam Deck by Valve, and has received the Playable rating. This means you can run it on the Deck!   Post-Launch Patch #1 - Achievements!

  ⚔️ Hail, adventurers! ⚔️Achievements are live for ToLLA!😎👇Today we bring you a major update: getting the Steam Overlay (and achievements) working for the game was a major challenge due to the RPGMV engine not wanting to play nice with Steam, but Doozle -- our tech guy -- managed to get it done after burning the midnight oil for a week straight!If you haven't already, you can purchase the game right here on Steam: 👇👇👇We've added a whopping 97 achievements to ToLLA! Some are pretty easy to unlock, while others will take a bit more effort. We know many of you love achievement-hunting, so getting this feature implemented and rolled out was at the top of our priority list, despite the technical challenges...If you'd like to support our work, please consider grabbing the Collector's Edition of the game:Apart from all the other DLCs bundled in there, inside is also a walkthrough & guide that we'll be updating soon with the new achievement info... plus you get access to a ton of (lewd) high-rez art in addition to the base game! Our ability to keep working on ToLLA is directly tied to its revenue stream, so consider supporting us by grabbing the Collector's Edition. The game's launch discount ends in a bit over 25 hours, so now's a good time to grab it if you've been waiting.And if you've bought and enjoyed the game, please leave a review - they're the main metric used by Steam to decide which games get shown to customers! We got a bunch of bad early reviews because some players felt the need to trash the game over "missing features" (like combat & party management) which were never part of its scope anyway, and this coupled with the Collective Shout censorship killed the game's launch momentum.
