About this game

Wrinkle Your Brain

Times Trials is an all-ages, arcade-style block-dropping puzzle game that will supercharge your math skills.

Your goal is simple: arrange the falling number blocks to form rows or columns that equal the target number. As the blocks keep falling, you’ll need lightning-quick thinking to make it through.

41 Ways to Play

Race against the clock in Score Mode or plot your victory with Puzzle Mode. Choose from 6 or 7 different math subjects, ranging from addition to algebra. There is sum-thing for everyone!

This game caters to all skill levels, making it a perfect choice for students and math enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re a beginner looking for a fun way to practice or a literal calculator looking for a challenge, Times Trials is right for you.

School Your Friends

Double the fun with Versus Mode! Take your skills to the next power by squaring off against friends and family and earn big-brained bragging rights. Who will be the better mathematician?

With Steam's Remote Play feature, you can invite friends to battle online without buying multiple copies of the game. The math checks out; that's value!

Cute Characters

Choose from a wide cast of lovable characters who will help you add fun to your math practice.

Made by Excellent People

    Updates and 2025 Highlights

Happy New Years, math enjoyers! We are starting 2026 with some updatesFixed some matching rules where not all combinations were being detected when the identity block (0 or 1) was involved.Added a hard drop feature as an option when the player all-clears singleplayer mode. Players can instantly place a block by pressing "Up" with this option turned on.Shifted the block spawn down by one unit, and changed the rotation pivot to start on the top block. This is so players can immediately read the numbers of the blocks on spawn, while keeping the ghost row intact.Added a note to indicate which player paused the game.Fixed a bug where achievements weren't being properly unlocked. We've gotten some reports where blocks can be reused when making horizontal matches but not vertical. This is intentional and we are taking notes about this feature. Let us know how you feel about this design in the comments and we will adjust accordingly! Some highlights of 2025 we would like to shareWe are grateful for being at Tokyo Game Show 2025 to show Times Trials!
