Today, we’re excited to introduce Junko—the protagonist of the upcoming release BrokenLore: DON'T LIE—as well as Hideo, who will appear in future developments. We'll also take a look at the unexpected connections they share with Shinji!DON'T WATCH - ShinjiYou play as Shinji, a severely socially anxious young man shut away from society. He lives under mounting debt and surrounded by a family who don't understand him. Desperate for any escapism he can find, he also turns to video games for small relief from his psychological pain.Revisit his experience here:DON'T LIE - JunkoMeet Junko, a young girl who has isolated herself away from the world due to her debilitating fear of rejection. She made many attempts at connection throughout her early years, and always felt pushed to the side by her father. This made exile feel like the only choice.Junko's coping mechanisms throughout her solitude involve a close companionship with her AI bestie Miki-chan and continuous playthroughs of her favourite video game Fantasy Boy.Play the game on September 10th:Miki-chan's companionship has had a profound effect on Junko's ability to connect with those around her. As Miki-chan is an AI created companion, she has learned all of Junko's quirks, therefore knows exactly how to provide the support and connection that Junko wants.Even if that doesn't match what she actually needs.DON'T PLAY (Currently in Development) - HideoMeet Hideo, a young hikikomori desperate for appreciation from those around him.
