About this game
Choose your jet, suit up & get into the thick of it. Doomsday Jetlag follows lone heroes as they dogfight the hounds of hell coming to bring nuclear armageddon to the lands below. Along the way, skill up your pilot to attain radical upgrades to make the fight a little more even, bolster the defenses of the lands you are protecting & find cards to equip powerful abilities in your next runs!
After a hard day's work saving the good people back on terra firma take your winnings back to the hangar and buy new jets or upgrade old ones for your next round of heroism. Fight off all kinds of jets, bombers, ships, missiles & nuclear warheads in your quest to delay the end of the world from your cockpit, one burst of molten lead at a time!
Collect useful abilities and power-ups to aid you in battle!
Mix & Match each round with 5 ability slots to create powerful combos and deal deadly damage.
Save the world and use your reward money to upgrade your jets or buy new ones!
As you level up your jets attempt missions across the world in more challenging maps!
Play across 11 Classic mode maps & 6 Onslaught mode maps defending a total of 166 Cities & Regions all across the world!

Welcome to Doomsday Jetlag's third big update! Here's what to look out for: 🌴🦁🛫🗡️🌴 SRI LANKA MAP 🌴🗡️🛫🦁🌴 https://i.imgur.com/HG5nRny.png Sri Lanka has been added as a new 'Easy' map. With 2 cities & regions to protect! ADDITIONS Barrel Roll ability as suggested by community member MKfox! This ability temporarily makes the player immune to enemy attacks! TWEAKS & FIXES Responding to community feedback, the following tweaks and fixes have been made to the game: Issue with speed control setting not showing correctly should be fixed. Card view area not loading properly bug fixed. Tasmania & Newfoundland ship navigation issues fixed. FUTURE This was not initially meant to be a 'full' update so all the things listed in the previous update's future section remain the same here. Here they are again: A new game-mode with global map! Minor visual improvements More music! All-new 'Themes' to choose from in the menu that will shake up UI and map loadouts! Any bugfixes or tweaks as detected by me or reported/suggested by you! Update #2 - Hawaii, New Ability & more!
Welcome to Doomsday Jetlag's second big update! Here's what to look out for: 🌴🛫🌴 HAWAII MAP 🌴🛫🌴 https://i.imgur.com/AU3tLe6.png Hawaii has been added as a new 'Easy' map. With 3 cities & regions to protect, soar amongst the stars and be guided safefully from nuclear apocalypse! ADDITIONS A few other additions have been made! All new Stats tab on the main menu, track a number of different stats both per-map and all-together! Magnet ability! This new ability allows you to grab xp from further distances! TWEAKS & FIXES Responding to community feedback, the following tweaks and fixes have been made to the game: Friendly jets no longer chase the player. Ships spawning incorrectly has been fixed. Issues with achievements and save file shenanigans should be cleared up! City rewards can no longer give negative amounts of cash. Cards have been made slightly rarer. Also a clarification on card achievements, they are only unlocked for winning a game with the cards active, not unlocking them. FUTURE Some of the plans for the next and likely final 'major' update are: 1-2 new game-modes! Minor visual improvements More music! All-new 'Themes' to choose from in the menu that will shake up UI and map loadouts! Controller/Steamdeck functionality & localisations put on the back burner for now.
