Thank You — And a Small Favor
Hi everyone,Over the past weeks we've been heads-down fixing every bug and working through every report you've sent us — from the launch-week issues all the way to the small puzzle frustrations. With v1.08, the last known progression blockers are resolved, and the game now plays the way we always wanted it to.We want to say something clearly: we couldn't have done this without you. Every report, every forum post, every detailed breakdown of "here's exactly where it broke" made these fixes possible. This community debugged this game with us, and we're genuinely grateful. And now, a small favor to ask.If you're enjoying the game — or if you played through it with a friend and had a good time — leaving a review would help us enormously. Reviews are the single biggest factor in whether new players discover the game, and for a small team like ours, every single one matters. It doesn't need to be long; a couple of honest sentences about your experience is more than enough. If you ran into problems back at launch and things work better for you now, revisiting your review would mean just as much. We're not done — the audio balance pass and more co-op quality-of-life improvements are on the way. But today we mostly wanted to say thank you, and to ask those of you who've been part of this journey to help us share it.See you in the manor, — The MediaCity Games TeamRead full article on Community Announcements (homerorz)Patch NotesOfficial
Update v1.08.1 — Globe Puzzle Clarity
Update v1.08.1 A small follow-up update focused on making one of the puzzles clearer. Reworded a text prompt in the globe puzzle that could confuse players about the correct steps to solve it. The puzzle now tells you directly when you've made a wrong move along the sea route, so you can correct course without the guesswork. Thank you, as always, for the feedback that makes these improvements possible. — The MediaCity Games TeamRead full article on Community Announcements (homerorz)Patch NotesOfficial
Update v1.08 — A Complete, Polished Experience
Update v1.08 — A Complete, Polished ExperienceThis is a milestone update for us.Since launch, we've worked through your reports one by one — stability, localization, performance, progression, and the small details that add up. With v1.08, the last known progression-blocking issues have been resolved, and Crimson Manor now plays through from beginning to end as it was always meant to: a complete, polished co-op experience. We're proud of where the game is today, and grateful to everyone who helped us get here.Version 1.08 — LatestFixed a bug in Act 4 where the lightbulb crank (dynamo) could become permanently stuck in an active state, blocking progress.Fixed a bug in Act 4 where players were unable to pour water onto the fire to put it out, which could force a restart of the act.Fixed the date cube puzzle in Act 2, which could fail to register a correct solution. It now also accepts both date formats (MM-DD and DD-MM), so a valid answer is always recognized regardless of how you enter it.The road here (v1.01–v1.07)Over the past weeks we've resolved doors that could push players out of the map, fixed progress and save persistence after rejoining, repaired Russian and end-game localization, added ultrawide support, smoothed mouse camera movement on high-end systems, added a "Continue" indicator so players always know their progress is saved, corrected puzzle reward and item-loading issues, and fixed a long list of individual puzzle bugs across all four acts — along with audio, UI, and performance improvements throughout. What's NextWith the game stable end to end, we're now focusing on polish and quality-of-life:A full pass on the game's audio to balance and level all sounds.Continued ultrawide display improvements (camera field of view and UI).Played at launch? It's a different game now.If you bounced off Crimson Manor early because of bugs, we understand — and we'd love to earn a second look. The game today is stable, complete, and the experience we always wanted to d...Read full article on Community Announcements (homerorz)Patch NotesOfficial
