Embark on a journey through expansive fantasy zones where every step is an adventure. Craft your gear and engage in thrilling combat as you explore and survive in Eldegarde, a massive multiplayer Action RPG from Notorious Studios.

About this game

Eldegarde is a third-person action PvPvE RPG featuring distinctive fantasy classes. Go on adventures solo or with friends to search for treasures, level up, and defeat any who stand in your way.

Choose between 6 iconic classic fantasy classes to level up: the Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Priest, Wizard and Paladin, each with their own character model, armor, weapons and skills.

Explore 5 unique zones with up to 32 different creature encounters. Embark solo or with up to 2 others in either PvE Expeditions, PvPvE Extraction or fast-paced Arenas.

Bring your best gear and potions into every adventure, but beware. Death comes at a cost, and in PvPvE, others can claim what’s yours.

When you can't find the loot you want, craft it with Eldegarde's rich crafting and progression system.

Earn reputation with the vendors in Stonehaven to unlock new crafting recipes. Build your Lodge and unlock furnishings like the Forge to process Ore, the Bed to earn Rested Experience, or the Critter Habitat where you house Goldgrubs to spin golden thread for passive income!

A team of volunteers is fighting to preserve "mini-MMO" Eldegarde after its sudden removal from Steam

Fantasy "mini-MMO" Eldegarde has been pulled from sale on Steam and will be shut down indefinitely at the end of March, just two months after its 1.0 launch. Starting its life as a PvPvE fusion of Arc Raiders' extraction gameplay and World of Warcraft's class design, it gradually evolved to offer more substantial PvE experiences in response to player feedback. Unfortunately, developer Notorious Studios, founded by former Blizzard veterans, says the game's full release "didn't gain enough traction to sustain the studio financially long term," and has made the decision to bring it to an early end. Read the rest of the story... Sunsetting Eldegarde (For now...)

Dear Players,After a year on Steam through Early Access and into its recent 1.0 release, I’m saddened to share that we have decided to sunset Eldegarde, taking the game offline indefinitely. While our team at Notorious is incredibly proud of the quality, experience, and passionate community we built with Eldegarde, it unfortunately didn’t gain enough traction to sustain the studio financially long term. The game will no longer be for sale on Steam, but it will remain online and playable until March 31st. Players who purchased the game in the past two weeks are eligable for a full refund, but you will be unable to continue playing the game.Eldegarde was an incredibly ambitious game for a new, small startup studio. It featured a unique combat system that blended Action RPG combat with MMO-like classes and spells, a session-based extraction mode that offered both PvPvE and PvE experiences, and deep, rich systems that I believe rival even mainline MMOs. While it started as a “fantasy extraction game,” the 1.0 release evolved the vision into something of a mini-MMO that we planned to build upon over time—perhaps one day growing into a next-generation traditional MMO.Notorious and I still believe in the long-term opportunity for Eldegarde, and even today hope that we can resurrect it at some point. While most of the team at Notorious has moved on to the next chapter of their careers, a small group has volunteered to convert the game to be playable offline, or perhaps with a client-side server. This is a challenging endeavor that will take a significant amount of time and may be not be achieveable anytime soon (if ever—this isn’t a promise!). Still, we would love to preserve Eldegarde in some way for our fans—and for ourselves. Stay tuned to our X account for any updates. While all of us are deeply saddened that this marks the end of our five-year adventure with Notorious (and I’m sure many of you feel the same), we also want to celebrate the creative achievements and momen...
